MCU Phase 4 General Discussion Thread

So I saw someone go through The Wakanda Files which is a MCU databook when I saw this article about the Civil War Iron Man suit
First armor to utilize nanotechnologies. Limited, active noncombatant armor developed in conjunction with signing of Sokovia Accords.
The Iron Man suit used in Civil War is canonically worse than his other suits rather than it just being a plot issue.

Just realized this will affect Cap’s shield as well since it never really did anything to Loki
Ah ****, this might help make Iron Man scaling to Loki more appropriate. Considering that no one else scales to Loki or Triangular-piece Iron Man at their full power.

Doesn't help that Mark 44 has the 8-B Sokovia dura feat that we eventually decided to go with the 8-B+ value.

High 8-C comes from where?
Iron Man Mark 6's arc reactor, 10 gigawatts.

Problem is, this exact arc reactor scales to Loki's 8-A ass. And Mark 45 has a 8-B durability feat for Sokovia.

Also isn't Cap gonna be 9-A
No, he'll get upped to 8-C for being able to lay out Spider-Man if he wished, who, as you might've guessed, tanks the Pumpkin Bomb Tobey style.

The arc reactor doesn't change with the armors. NWH showed the Mark VI reactor is still in use for stuff. It's just that those armors are actually designed for fighting people rather than being noncombat suits.

The statement was from Tony, so he most likely knows that Spidey was not ready even in terms of a H2H scenario.
I mean the big critical issue with Spider-Man until NWH is that he's incredibly incompetent at times due to his inexperience and his lack of self worth.

Prolly explains why Tony said that Cap could've laid him out if he wanted to. And it fits, Gobby in their first fight suplexed Tom and boom. Broken ribs. Tom underestimated just how dangerous Osborn could be and he paid the price.

Basically yes. Although honestly, this Peter was a bit too incompetent for me, Tobey and Andrew showed less incompetence in their own flick even if newbies at the time

First of all, sorry for the derailing (well, since nothing has been discussed here beside from scaling and peoples are busy with the holidays lel)

And now for the explanation, so Koyanskaya/Vitchy true identity is neither of Tamamo, Da Ji, Bunrei of Amaterasu, Tenko, Kuzunoha, etc
.

.
She's the Tunguska Event itself

Further explanation: Koyanskaya is the deifying manifestation of the animals cries and death in the Event, created from and by millions of animals and beasts
She was manifested physically the moment Cath Palug renounced it title as Beast IV/Primate Murder/Beast of Gaia
There is more like the reason she choose to be like Tamamo and her true reason for becoming a beast but i'm kinda tired atm lel
And also both Cath Palug and Koyanskaya defeat was an symbol of humanity reconcilling the harsh reality of nature by taming it, in short: Peaceful Defeat

Quick, which Marvel character is most likely to be a Fate fan? We can MAKE this on-topic.
Okay I may be wrong but I think at the very very least Thor would at least be intrigued by these warriors I mean the guy was friends with a god who wrestled black holes for fun I'm sure he'd like a good exchange about ideology and tales of these Spiritual warriors, I personally imagine a scene like when Rider, Gilgamesh and Saber were talking about what it means to be a ruler/king

I honestly don't see him enduring a talk with Gilgamesh for even a minute without being enraged (unless we're talking about the Caster or the Prototype version). Though to be fair, not many could anyway. But the idea is really exciting

While trying to find more information from the Wakanda Files book online, I did find something noteworthy. The book features a report from Coulson regarding the events of the Item 47 one-shot, which specifically takes place after the Avengers movie, which would indicate that Coulson being alive post-Avengers is being treated as canon by the book. Not sure if anything else established in Agents of SHIELD is referenced in the book. I probably should try to get a copy at some point to see if there's anything more of interest to find.
