Mazinger Z Revision

Basically everyone agrees this profile is a fairly shoddy composite, so I'm going to suggest revisions for the page with only canon information to the original manga.

The first feat is based off Mazinger's activation, which produced an earthquake that Kouji determines to be a 4-5 on the "scale". This is Japan, so it's far more likely he's referring to the far more common shindo or richter scales. A category 4 on the Shindo scale is roughtly analagous to a V on the Mercalli scale, and a category 5 is a VI. Given the damages, the feat is most likely a category 5, which is Town level. This is consistent with Aphrodite, a much weaker and less advanced robot, creating a sizeable exposio (note the 45 metre tall evergreen trees next to the blast).

The second feats are based off monsters in Mazinger supposedly being able to destroy Tokyo. This accolade was only actually given to one monster, the rest simply refer to monsters rampaging throughout the city. For example, in the first volume Yumi claims that she will stop Mazinger from destroying Tokyo, despite the robot only having destroyed a few buildings at this point. In fact, there's multiple moments in the series where destroying Tokyo was the objective of the villain, yet it still took a lot of time for even multiple robots. Later, even incredibly haxy monsters with unprecedented power still don't have the power to one-shot Tokyo. Adding to this point, it's heavily implied Mazinger could not survive a nuclear explosio from Ashura's fortress. Kouji actually had to run away from the blast rather than tank it at point-blank range.

With those two out of the way, I'm going to debunk the Island level. Firstly, on Mazinkaiser's page, it says the robot is far stronger than Mazinger, yet the two are somehow listed as "undoubtedly comparable". This is where the expression "you can't have your cake and eat it" comes into play. Secondly, it's not part of the same continuity.

Now for the Planet level justification; those supposed planet-destroying statements never actually imply Mazinger is capable of blowing up the Earth outright, more it could end human civilization. For example, Kouji's grandfather says its power could destroy the world and claims he could do anything he wants with it seconds later, implying the planet would still be there afterwards. In another example, Kouji himself claims Mazinger is capable of destroying the world and then says he could end all of the world's superpowers. The villain even has these same contradictory statements.

In Volume 4, Mazinger easily lifted a large rock. Later, Kouji stopped Ashura's fortress from advancing, just the top of which far dwarfs Mazinger itself (who's 20-30 metres in height), while underwater. Ashura even confirmed that the force Mazinger applied would have destroyed the base. I believe this is easily enough for a Class G rating. This doesn't scale to AP, by the way, as Mazinger took time to simply pierce the base with Beast Fire.

The current speed on the profile is based entirely off anime and guide book statistics, however there's a Superhuman feat from the original manga. Aphrodite, who can keep up with Mazinger, was able to seemingly outru tanks. These most resemble the Type 61, which have a maximum speed of 45 km/h on paved roads.
