Marvel vs Capcom Discussion Thread

Haggar's definitely High 5-A, but I wouldn't say Chris scales, given he gets pretty easily overpowered by the guy

Still, its funny how this is the verse where Haggar ends up getting the high tier scaling and not Zangief. Guess he got his spotlight

True, though I was more leaning towards the scaling for Nemesis. Unless this is one of those cutscenes that's meant to represent just one scene at the end.

@Isaiah_ZaMangaka Doom's gifs in the attacks/techniques section looks great. The only mistake there is that the gif for Hard Kick isn't the right attack. Thanks again for adding those btw
Aii so i'm fixing dooms gifs rn, so quick question: when you said wrong gif, did you mean it was displaced/unorganized, or was it straight up the wrong attack? If so, what does Hard Kick look like? 😅

There’s an example of this page. It isn’t exclusive to UMVC3, as it’s found in other titles. Basically it’s Doom doing a high kick

I find it both slightly funny yet impressive how the MSHvSF bio just tells us "Yeah, Ken is Ryu's top rival". The same game where Ryu considers Cyclops and Spider-Man to be rivals. Like damn, Ken is still making a name for himself

Been thinking about going for Zangief next (he and Jin are last among MvC's regular roster, not counting Onslaught & secret fighters; only Juggernaut, Magneto and Thanos are left from MSH regarding Origins - may not likely get into complicated characters).

In Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, Mech-Zangief is a separate/secret character much like Shadow Lady (apparently able to inflict heavier damage), despite being his transformation from MvC onwards (I don't think that needs a own key, since it's a super-armor state and doesn't amp his AP at all).

Once again, you guys are free to edit a sandbox draft after sharing it up.

Yeah, Mech-Zangief is simply a durability amping form. It doesn’t influence his AP

He does get fire breath, which is cool though.

Also, isn't is wierd how the guy responsible for one of the major feats we scale to is also one of the ones to be published late into development?

I find it funnier how his feat comes about

Spots giant robot
Turns his body into metal
Uses a wrestling move that creates a Large Country level explosion
Refuses to elaborate

Also, the Vale of Mist would be a time slowing-based ability. Not Status Effect Inducement
