Two beings, born from a race that's been discriminated for a long time, only to go off the deep end when a war has started, causing both of their ideals and lives to change in a twisted way forever, and follow their own twisted ideals on how their race should be equal, which prompted them to make an entire organization on the discriminated race to gain absolute power, all while having a close friend with them that still respects them, but wishes the better of these corrupted individuals to come out and join the right path and make a more pacifistic route on saving their races, which resulted in them battling their close friends due to different ideologies, duke it out to see which ruler of an inferior race is the best.

Hmm... let's see...

I guess that in character Mithos should start with something like teleport and spam light magic like Ray or Judgement, which Magneto can defend with powerful shields.

But Mithos isn't a fool. When he see that his spells can't affect him. Mithos should be more serious and start to use powerful techniques, like cut through space-time with Ethernal Sword or time stop, which Magneto has nothing to counter.

Of cause Magneto also has chance to kill Mithos before be killed, with his powerful hax like ripping the iron out of Mithos' blood or tearing Mithos apart on the molecular level.

But even Mithos' whole body is destroyed, he can still alive as long as his Cruxis Crystal isn't destroyed.

Magneto don't know about Cruxis Crystal, so he should target on destroyed Mithos' body and left Cruxis Crystal still remain. And Mithos should use the chance that Magneto didn't realize to possess Megneto. Which still give him a victory.

With this, My vote goes to Mithos.

Well Mithos is also likely to use timestop and retribution, both of these can prove to be quite useful against magneto.

Going with Xanx's reasoning here about 5.5/10, though if Mithos uses Power Null first, it would probably go up to 8.5/10.

Well power null is part of Retribution, which is basically stat debuff, poison, status effects, durability negation, and power null at once. And he's shown to use it in battle.
