Ichiban KARARARARSUGA vs Hanekawa Tsubasa

b54QiXn.jpg

Sorry, I flubbed

Still being able to fight with Kiryu IS a feat, considering Kiryu is apparently lighyears above Hanekawa in skill, indicates he can proficiently fight against her too. With party or not, Ichiban in the party's powerhouse and leader. Obviously the Yakuza's OG's are much stronger, but he wasn't completely steamrolled, from what we know. Majima noted he had fun fighting with them and Saejima jumped to help him (though Ichiban noted that Majima was already too much, which is understandable)
But why tho? :v

The only feat I've heard for him here is fighting 100 people, including some with guns and rocket launches, and I'm not sure if that's lightyears above Hanekawa's feat.

Damn. I once wrote Kiryu's most impressive feats on some "most skilled" thread, but I don't remember where (maybe forum move consumed that). I'll try to find it.

Eh no, that's far from his best feat (Not even close I'd say), he literally handed over the asses of all the fighters in the Kamurocho Coliseum multiple times in a row, which has been repeatedly known to house some of the world's best fighters in the Yakuzaverse, he steamrolled Majima more times than I'd like to count (And Majima reigned as the sole champion of the Coliseum shortly after Yakuza 3 began in 2006 and kept the title for 3 consecutive years until he got whupped by Kiryu again) and Kiryu also steamrolled Jo Amon and his entire clan 6 freakin' times in a row (Before that he steamrolled Jo's father So Amon, and back then Kiryu was just 20 and starting his life as a Yakuza), and the Amon Clan has had a history of being able to copy entire fighting styles and various martial arts forms to become the world's deadliest assassins, with Jo Amon himself having killed countless other highly-skilled warriors all over the world and then building a machine to absorb said dead fighters' abilities and unique martial arts into himself (He really didn't need to build the machine tho, he already had the innate ability to absorb it via sight alone, much like Kiryu's Revelations technique).

Ah shit dude, can't find it. Consumed by forum move it seems. I'll just write some of the most impressive things in Kiryu's arsenal.

So, Kiryu can mimic moves by just looking at them once. Like every Yakuza 0-5 protagonist. Some of this includes making an entire fighting style off just these few moves.

Yakuza 0 Revelations, Yakuza 3 Revelations, Yakuza 4 Revelations, Yakuza 5 Revelations

He manhandles people with incredible feats on their own. He has defeated (respect threads time) Goro Majima tens to hundreds of times, defeated Akiyama twice and Tanimura once (And at the time, Akiyama was fighting alongside Tanimura). He also inconned Saejima twice. He outclasses them all in terms of sheer technique and that's the main reason he wins against them. We can also scale them to him because of Kiryu's copying ability.

He also did totally destroy Jo Amon 6 times, and his father So Amon once (While being a Yakuza freshman). Jo Amon's feats are also very impressive, but he has also composite moveset of hundreds of fighters, including Kiryu himself and Majima, and always had an advantage of having weapons like satellites, drones making explosions, lightsabers, forcefields et cetera.

After returning from jail (After 10 years!) Kiryu became even stronger, in a span of what, few days?

Goes without saying Kiryu in every single game fights against hundreds of guys all by himself, and all the bosses he fights against are not featless, so that's even more scaling.

Yakuza 0, Yakuza 1, Yakuza 2, Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and of course his fight with Tojo Clan in Yakuza 5.

Yeah I guess KLOL's stuff makes sense.

Superior skill, Heat to close the already not-that-large AP gap, and having actual ranged attacks would probably give Ichiban the win.

I felt offended and I'm going to jump off my carpet rn

But yeah that's my point, Kiryu/Majima and Saejima seemed like more of a threat skill wise.

Should Kararararsuga be 9-C with weapons tho? Unless his guns can harm people equal to his durability?

piercing damage might explain it tho. Irrc monogatari characters aren’t bulletproof

By the way on the subject of skill, while Kiryu is fought with a full team he'll never attack female characters, so Ichiban's taking more than 1/5th of the punches, if that makes sense.

The point isn't about "taking punches" as much as it is about dishing (or in this case, NOT being able to dish them) out. The problem is that by the end of the fight Ichiban and his crew are beaten to a pulp and Kiryu doesn't have a scratch
