Given that a normal human managed to incap AM after it was distracted by the other AI's, couldn't Giorno just, you know, go into AM's "heart" and find the Id, Superego, & Ego and Muda muda them to "death"?

Well, they didn't literally punch it to death, but they were able to shut them down individually using totems to basically talk-no-jutsu each part individually. They do seem to be vulnerable to physical attacks tough, and give that any action done by AM will get negated Giorno has all the time he needs to take them down.
