I am going on vacation soon

Hello.

I am going on my yearly vacation with my family from November 27 to December 4 this year (November 26 and December 5 will also be partially involved).

However, given the ongoing stressful situation with our upcoming forum move, I will try to work almost as much as usual when I am abroad, so I do not leave the community hanging when they need my help.

I will try to take a few breaks to go snorkeling or socialise with my family though, and would appreciate if the rest of the staff make a greater effort than usual to help out with patrolling suspicious edits and organising content revision discussions during this time.

Speaking of the forum move, as I mentioned elsewhere, after much waiting things finally seem to start to move on that front.

The Fandom staff has told me that the engineer responsible for handling this issue has now sent over exports of the contents of the Joke Battles and FCOC forums to the company that will set up our new external discussion forum. However, given the sheer size of the VS Battles forum, they are still working on converting it for the time being.

I have also been told that they will try to not place our forum migration in connection with my vacation.

Ant, please do take this time to ease off on the wiki work. I realize that the Forum move will be a huge endeavor but it's no reason to work yourself to the bone even during the one time you allow yourself some levity.

We will manage, all of us, in your stead. Trust us as we trust you, and please for the love of God take all the time off that you need. You deserve it, and working yourself to the point of exhaustion will only hurt you and the wiki in the long run.
