Goofy ahh calculations

I remember when Buttersamuri used to be here and then there was this nonsensical feat of destroying a witness stand by objecting. As some honorable mentions, I remember him also calculating the energy of Ace Attorney lawyers and prosecutors shaking the courtroom by yelling/objecting/desk slamming which got to stupidly high results as high as Building level (One of them was City Block level lmao), although I can’t seem to find the calc.

Wow, Ace Attorney was almost [even more] goated.

I had found a Buttersamuri calc in this page: https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Zombie_(The_Walking_Dead)

I personally removed the link since the guy's calcs were banned from the wiki.

Side note but- I was read the thread title as "Goofy as all Hell calculations", but that'd be [aah]- so what does [ahh] mean?

TOO ******* LATE, I WAS SUBJECT TO THIS. I WANT TO RIP MY EYEBALLS OUT NOW.
What's wrong with...

[cleans glasses]

Breaking 14 bones being Building level?

Assuming a change in the scene means the six other people who were in the background were vaporized?

Equating Afterimage Creation to automatically be 1000 m/s?

Using a rough sketch of an idea the game creator had, which is a warning shot to the ground near the foot, to be bullet dodging?

Using a different rough sketch of someone literally being shot through the head, for a durability calc, despite the fact that the bullet literally went through the person's head, and with the same absurd bone-joule value of the first calc?

Or randomly putting in the speed of a limozine because it was there- and thinking Limozines are driven at one hundred-and-*******-seventy miles per hour, or the tiny movements of the character which are useful for literally nothing?

What's so wrong about that?

Damn that shit must have crazy HP, acceleration and aerodynamics and is capable of staying glued to the ground like nothing LOL

TBF tho, limos overrated, high-performance luxury sedans with track-tested body kits FTW.

Oh my God
They even posted it to Content Revision instead of Fun and Games

No offense to life of king but the fact that High 6-C was even considered is insane.
Not to mention the "Earthquake" in question goes from magnitude 8 to magnitude 5 over just 10 meters

It's stuff like this that just make me honestly think all earthquake calcs should be nuked until we figure something out
I used magnitude 8 because some people asked for it off site

Also, I already admited that a lot of my JJK calculations in the past were purposefully wanked. I try to redeem myself currently

No problem man, You have some of the best calcs on the site.

I was just trying to point out how Sus 90% of earthquake calculations are on this site (Cough, Kengan, Cough, Baki) and yours unfortunately just happened to be in the crossfire

Using this to post my Pet Peeve calc methods, since they're very wrong, dumb, and goofy to me
  • Freezing Calcs (Energy does not work that way)
  • Close range earthquake calcs (Shaking a cave should not be City Block level)
  • Compressive Strength volumetric destruction "because crater = pushing" calcs
  • Inverse-Square Law Sphere of Sun Destruction calcs for radii of volumes which are only a sliver the volumes of spheres (Serious Punch^2 and Majin Buu's galaxy destruction come to mind)
  • Projectile Interception calcs which put stuff like blocking throwing knives or dodging punches at Supersonic+, despite the Verse's God Tiers still having to aim-dodge bullets Cough, PTJ Verse, Cough Cough
  • Calcs which use "Speed of Electricity" from that one coilgun video
  • Could think of more later

Mountain level sex, Large Planet level fart
i mean saitama has a planet level fart iirc

If I had to add one here, this one

tbh idk if this calc is legit or not but it seems sus...but either way whether it's legit or not it's a mathematical outlier

There is no way in hell vaporising water gets 3-A at any reasonable volume, that can’t possibly be right

Nah the calc's right at a cursory glance- It's not about vaporizing water, it's about brightness required to light up a depth of water, but water is exponentially good at dimming light.

In the open ocean, sunlight can only penetrate 200 meters before its reduced to 1% of its surface strength- this is called the Photic Zone (source), so 100 times decrease in strength every 200 meters- Marianas Trench is ~11000 meters deep, (11000/200)= 55 so it'll be cut to 1% of strength 55 times- 100^55 = 10^110,

So, in order for the bottom of the Marianas Trench to be lit up to the same level as the surface of the ocean, the Sun would need to shine ten-billion-googol times brighter than it currently is.

Pokedex writers just didn't think about the math behind why the Ocean is really damn dark.

Damn that's op

possibly goofy? unsure as i know nothing about the math its just the result seems sus

this is for mitsuri from demon slayer slashing a bunch of lightning bolts after they had hit the ground

Yeah... My apologies for the necro-bump, but... I'm sorry, what the hell kinda calc is this?: https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/U...f_the_best_spider-man_catching_a_tramway_feat

Not only does the text give me an aneurysm, but... Not only are there sourcing issues, but the figures themselves are also wack. Like, the CDC says that a 13-year-old boy's median height is 166 cm (5'1.5"): https://www.cdc.gov/growthcharts/data/set2clinical/cj41l071.pdf

Bro's saying that 13 year old boys weigh 75 lbs. If I had a 13-year-old-kid and he weighs 75 lbs, I'm taking him to the hospital and reporting whoever raised him so poorly to child protection services, because that's a BMI of 13.9! As far as I can tell, he really went off the rails.

Pretty sure the train feat was calc'd to be 9-B or so.
