Ok so in this thread i put the whole "Do the other characters like Ba, Akabane and Ginji scale to DD Summons" on hold as i had to go through the arc to find said proof and from what i found the only one who scales is Ba and maybe Akabane too. Let's get to it:

I'll go on to explain the situation: So, it's the 1st fight between Ban and Lucifer. Lucifer obviously dessimates Ban due to the fact that Ban is not a DD user while Lucifer is. After some useless struggle from Ban's side Lucifer decides to use Satan (his DD summon) to annihalate Ban. Satan attacks and nothing remains of Ban. Sariel (Lucifer's underling) goes along with the idea that Ban was destroyed, but as soon as he looks back, he sees a scratch on Lucifer's face, then he sees a "An illusion of Asclepius" (Asclepius being the fuel of Ban's AP) and then comments "Was asclepius able to block Lord Lucifer's attack?". So Ban's Asclepius was not only able to tank and endure Satan's (Satan in our case being the strongest Divine Design Summon) full blow, but somewhat damage Lucifer in the process. Further proof of Asclepius >= Satan would be the fact that Asclepius took on Satan's blow while Himiko took Ban to a safe place, should Asclepius had been weaker Satan would have annihalated both Ban and Himiko.

This would prove that Ba scales to the DD Summons. And the only one who could possibly scale is Akabane who seems to be comparable to Ban at all times.

As I already said, I agree with this given Ban gets his power boost from Asclepius. Akabane scaling is fine as well.

Ok so this is Ban's current tier:

Tier: At least 9-C, likely 9-B. Unknow with Asclepius | Unknow, possibly Low 2-C | Unknow, possibly Low 2-C

Should the 8-B tier replace the "Unknown with Asclepius"?

So:

Tier: At least 9-C, likely 9-B. At least 8-B with Asclepius | Unknow, possibly Low 2-C | Unknow, possibly Low 2-C

Since Devil arm and Angel arm might scale higher from later feats. though we'll have to see.

Replace the Unknowns with At least 8-B. I'm coming up on a feat I think they could scale higher from but not sure yet.

I think scaling Devil/Angel Arm Ban (which is like last arc) with mid series DD Summons seems a bit rushed.

Also i saw your progress on the blog. And about the whole Captain Blood = Hishiki but Ban and Ginji were scared of the latter but not the former, is likely just due to comical aspects. Like how Hevn can just punch Ban and crash him in a wall despite the former being a female human and the latter being well...Ban. I don't think Hishiki was meant to be a character that should be taken seriously with all his comical parts (like him using a bike to throw off police cars), same as how Ginji doesn't have size manipulation for being capable of becoming chibi quite literally (as in becoming so small he can get on top of Ban's head) and stuff like that.

Yeah that was my idea. It would just be pointless editing.

Yeah, he was only depicted as a threat in like the 1st 2 arcs. This is marine red. Ban's asclepius scales to 8-B which is FAR above anything Hishiki has shown, so Ban being scared of Hishiki is beyond me tbh. But judging from the fact that most of Hishiki's feats are...well...jokes (from punching the cliff, to the police cars, to his next feat etc). The only time he was depicted as a thread was in early series when we had 9-C and 9-B Ban and Ginji and he had those special glasses against the Jagan. I don't remember him being a genuine threat anytime after, most of them are just Ginji and Ban running away in chibi mode from him and him having some joke feats.

I asked Kepley but he said he's not knowledgeable on the verse so he couldn't help. I asked monarch too, waiting for his reply. Though i do agree with Kepley here, calc and hax CRT's can get outside help, but in verse scaling seem a lil bit hard for non knowledgable members to judge.

Besides Kepley and Monarch no. I was hoping on Monarch since he was also the one who helped with the Low 2-C tier regarding the GetBackers, but he never answered back.
