General DC Comics Discussion Thread

Im nearly done with the page. Does anyone think I missed an ability, and if so, which one?
just a formatting suggestion. For the enhanced senses, it might be worth doing something like

Enhanced Senses
- Sight: (feats)
- Hearing: (feats)
just so readers know exactly what senses are enhanced and how they're enhanced more clearly.

Again, that's just the Kryptonians being extremely durable, like the fact they can be harmed by non supernatural characters or characters on their power level shows that it's just typical durability.

We're not gonna give invulnerability negation for anyone who makes a kryptonian bleed by punching them.

Invulnerability is limited to what it's shown to do.

You wouldn't get invulnerability negation for making a kryptonian bleed, it just shows the limits of the invulnerability.

Invulnerability can be limited to conventional stuff only tho? Them being harmed by other things is not an anti feat

Question for Zatanna and Swamp Thing scaling

Considering that she sort of affects Prahlaya with her magic, and how Swamp Thing regrew into the DC Omniverse thanks to her spells... will she and Swamp Thing get the DeMatteis Cosmology scaling? Or is there something I'm missing?

I think martian manhunter should have 1-A or at least 1-B mind haxs in his profile for briefly outpacing perpetua in a telepathic race. Even reaching speeds beyond the universe, in nanoseconds, zeptoseconds.. and planck times, preventing perpetua from reaching his mind.

Copying and pasting here, since I didn't receive any responses in the thread I made.
I feel like this has already been discussed somewhere, I just don't remember..

Sounds like resistance to me

Let's try getting John another w!
Bump, I just need you guys to vote there

It seems like post-Crisis Aquaman may need space survival and flight, if it was not just bad writing. 🙏

In my opinion, we should not consider bad writing if there is no context behind the feat, like someone putting a spell onto him that permits such thing. If this was the case, he wouldn't get Self-Sustenance from it, as he has.

Should it be through a CRT, or can we just put it in the profile? If it's the latter, I could take care of it

It seems like a too minor issue to require a separate crt, rather than quickly making a decision here regarding it. 🙏

OK, just read JLA: Our Worlds at War. There's no mention of a spell or anything allowing him to breathe but I'd classify it as psuedo-flight. He can't fly like up in the sky on Earth, but in space, he can "swim" enough to get to a JLA teleporter.

Shouldn't we also mention that in Acrobatics?

"oh my, Aquaman can fly! And we have always talked so much about him, maybe he deserves some credit"
"nah, man swims so good he looks like he's flying here in the moon"

both once again laugh at Aquaman

So should we give Aquaman spaceflight, ignore it as an illogical story error, or consider it as that he had some kind of propulsion and forcefield equipment?

It's more logical to say he can fly in atmosphere by moving his FTL arms in circles like Flash. Space swimming is only the second funniest thing I've heard of today.
