The first time, Vader was weaker than Anakin, and the second time, he actually just got lucky. Starkiller even notes the best could've hoped for againts Vader was a stalemate. He lucked out.

This also took place well before ROTJ

IIRC, TFU 1 novel showed that Galen Marek can totally beat Vader, whereas TFU II showed that Starkiller can barely beat Vader.

Pretty much, but Vader was still weaker than Anakin in TFU1, as Palpatine himself noted.

Anakin with High Diff, while Galen might have rekt Vader in the game, this is largely due to lucasarts trying to show off their new game engine than anything else as in everyone other media his constantly shown to be Vader's equal and nothing more, also the main reason for him defeating Vader in TFU II was largely due to Vader's weakness with his chest plate when it comes to lightning and what not, also another problem is that the Vader Galen was fighting wasn't even Vader at his peak, he only reached that by ROTJ.

I'm more inclined to say this Vader is far closer to the Original Anakin's strength but without the weakness to his chest.

also the fact that Shaak Ti Cancoially weaker than Anakin makes this even worse.

as Shaak Ti almost killed Starkiller on many occasions.

so yeah voting Anakin with High Diff

I'll give it Anakin, Legendary Diff, as in he'll be in a coma for the rest of his life after this (though Galen will be dead).

If this was starkiller, then I'd vote inconclusive
