I don't think this is the case. More people recognize the big SCPs than they do the big Backrooms monsters

Yeah but generally speaking, they'd know only specific scps mostly 173, 096, 049 or 939 upon other good ol reliables but they'd know more about backrooms as a whole including the levels, the entities and generally the "no-clip". Nowadays people mostly recognize 173 as a walking peanut that snaps your neck contained by the foundation.
Even if at this point in time the Backrooms haven't usurped SCP's throne, they certainly have a significant following comparable to theirs.

We discussed it a while back and you've rewrote the rule into this, but I am not sure if it was ever added to Editing Rules, despite it being accepted. Prior to that message Agnaa mentioned there being quality control mentioned, but I was lazy to go deeper.
Point is, can someone link wiki's rules so we can determine if they are strict enough at this point in time (yes, Wikidot is banned here, how could you tell?)?

There's no better moment to do it than always, but to paraphrase "SCP is popular, so it is an exception to rules".
I gave up on SCP long time ago.

SCP has no canon. It's not the same as the Blue & White, as with SCP, its lack of canonicity you can dismiss sections of the site without affecting other sections at all.

"There is no canon" is a moniker that anyone can write whatever they want as long as it's upvoted enough regardless of contradictions, not a ban on writers crafting distinct "canons." Nevertheless, this makes SCP's canon fluid enough for us to readily disregard parts of it without affecting the verse as a whole.

Remember, greenlights are a requirement, not a suggestion. If you coldpost an article, it will be deleted, regardless of if it's in deletion range or not. The user coldposting will receive a message urging them to review this page, along with the source code of their article so that they may receive genuine critique on the article. If the user proceeds to continue coldposting, they may be banned.As y'all can see. There is a form of regulator inside backrooms wikidot. @Bobsican said he can put a tier 0 penguin in there. Let him try.

Also: A "greenlight" is a term used as a go-ahead for posting, sort of like a green light at stoplights! On our site, it's used so that our greenlighters can give permission to users looking to post their articles on our wiki!

Essentially, a new user requires 15+ ratings for their page to be accepted to be posted.
