Well, maybe it's because we are in...the "Backthread"

I agree with this.Disagree with letting backrooms enter to VSBW
Notability is straight up off the table. You do realize Backrooms already pushed SCP on the back pedal in terms of popularity right?I'm not so sure the Backrooms has enough notability or legitimacy to qualify for here.
He did, but he deleted the commentdidn't you bump this an hour ago? I'm not going crazy, right?
I don't think this is the case. More people recognize the big SCPs than they do the big Backrooms monstersYou do realize Backrooms already pushed SCP on the back pedal in terms of popularity right?
Yeah but generally speaking, they'd know only specific scps mostly 173, 096, 049 or 939 upon other good ol reliables but they'd know more about backrooms as a whole including the levels, the entities and generally the "no-clip". Nowadays people mostly recognize 173 as a walking peanut that snaps your neck contained by the foundation.I don't think this is the case. More people recognize the big SCPs than they do the big Backrooms monsters
We discussed it a while back and you've rewrote the rule into this, but I am not sure if it was ever added to Editing Rules, despite it being accepted. Prior to that message Agnaa mentioned there being quality control mentioned, but I was lazy to go deeper. Not the case.
Now, the first conversation on this happened a long time ago, so it would be good help if someone could link the previous thread. That being said, a lot of Backrooms content was deemed far too lenient and lax for the wiki, and SCP was noted to have significantly higher standards. I can’t really debate the specifics without looking over the previous thread because I can’t remember shit.
If wikidot be banned. Then SCP would be banned too wouldn't it?We discussed it a while back and you've rewrote the rule into this, but I am not sure if it was ever added to Editing Rules, despite it being accepted. Point is, can someone link wiki's rules so we can determine if they are strict enough at this point in time (yes, Wikidot is banned here, how could you tell?)?
it would not, due to the standards SCP has in placeIf wikidot be banned. Then SCP would be banned too wouldn't it?
There's no better moment to do it than nowthough, I would love if SCP was gone
There's no better moment to do it than always, but to paraphrase "SCP is popular, so it is an exception to rules".There's no better moment to do it than now
agreedI say we put em all in FC/OC wiki

Neither SCP nor Backrooms are fanfiction, and they're both too popular to be original characters.agreed
FC/OC also has works that put too much copyrighted material in their stuff, so you don't have to be fanfiction to be thereNeither SCP nor Backrooms are fanfiction, and they're both too popular to be original characters.

That's maybe an argument for disallowing those specific SCPs, not for dismissing the site as a whole.
Blue & White was completely deleted for featuring some copyrighted side-characters thoThat's maybe an argument for disallowing those specific SCPs, not for dismissing the site as a whole.
SCP has no canon. It's not the same as the Blue & White, as with SCP, its lack of canonicity you can dismiss sections of the site without affecting other sections at all.Blue & White was completely deleted for featuring some copyrighted side-characters tho
Then why the difference in "Canon" and "Extended Canon" on the profiles?SCP has no canon. I
Yes it is. You literally can't do that. How so? In actually contributing to the site or the over all quality? The former yes, it is harder to actually add to it, but it's not impossible for random people online like me and whatever to get in there and artificially inflate powerlevels for battleboarding. The latter is subjective and if stuff like Velma has profiles, there shouldn't be a discussion on this specifically
That aside some SCP's blatantly infringe on Copyright like Here.
The way we word our profiles has no bearing on the nature of the SCP site. Then why the difference in "Canon" and "Extended Canon" on the profiles?
still implies that there is some form of canonicityThe way we word our profiles has no bearing on the nature of the SCP site.
"There is no canon" is a moniker that anyone can write whatever they want as long as it's upvoted enough regardless of contradictions, not a ban on writers crafting distinct "canons." Nevertheless, this makes SCP's canon fluid enough for us to readily disregard parts of it without affecting the verse as a whole.still implies that there is some form of canonicity

OofSo, perhaps I made a mistake.
When I asked for rules of Backrooms wiki to check quality control, I said that Wikidot is banned. What I meant is that Wikidot is banned in my country so I can’t check them myself. Oops.
Hindsight is 20/20, whatever.
So, any rules?

Also: A "greenlight" is a term used as a go-ahead for posting, sort of like a green light at stoplights! On our site, it's used so that our greenlighters can give permission to users looking to post their articles on our wiki!"What will happen if I avoid the greenlighting process?"
Remember, greenlights are a requirement, not a suggestion. If you coldpost an article, it will be deleted, regardless of if it's in deletion range or not. The user coldposting will receive a message urging them to review this page, along with the source code of their article so that they may receive genuine critique on the article. If the user proceeds to continue coldposting, they may be banned.
As y'all can see. There is a form of regulator inside backrooms wikidot. @Bobsican said he can put a tier 0 penguin in there. Let him try.
Essentially, a new user requires 15+ ratings for their page to be accepted to be posted.Well, green light is mandatory, good, but what does it involve?
Rules of fandom wiki seemingly unrelated to wikidot..? Yes, no? We are talking solely wikidot for now.
