Why we do take seriously meliodas and zeldris struggle against supreme deity? Unlike demon king that still can be outpaced by conventional physical damage like escanor do, supreme deity has unnamed power opposite of the ruler, which make her has invulnerability against physical damage. Meliodas couldn't bypass it with only ordinary physical damage like his always do, that's why they need to combo it with their darkness to bypass it
