carly returns to the states and wants to see her freinds so she tries to call them and after trying a few numbers and doing a little asking around she finally manages to contact sam. sam agrees they should meet to catch up. so they make plans to meet somewhere. sam drags cat along to meet her friend. but after they all greet each other and have a happy reunion etc. there's a flash of light, a roar and all of a sudden cat and carly are in the claws of a dragon! sam sees them get taken and attempts to get her friends back.

Because Sam has no way to fight an opponent that much larger than herself who can also fly and range spam her to death with fire

she can throw stuff, also the dragon doesnt normally spam range and there is a limit to the number of times it can use its fire.

since they have similar AP the bite probably wouldnt kill her. (unless it swallows her, then she´d probably die to acid and heat.)
