Then that's just magic nullifying, not specifically curse hax which lists Pain, Mind and Death manipulation as indicators of the abillity
 
No that's not magic nullifying. And it lists Pain, Mind and Death Manipulation as only possible uses, not only uses.
 
I said "Indicators" not that's the only thing, also i disagree, even in the metroidvania games you can't regenerate MP/boost MP when you're cursed meaning you can't use spells, semantics essentially
 
You can use spells actually, it's just that the resource that is needed, your mana, is being drained so it's not semantics, it's just wrong.
 
Yes it is when it serves the same function, you being able to get 1 extra attack out doesn't mean it isn't semantics. When you're at 0 MP, it locks you out of regenerating Magic which works on Shanoa especially since here MP regenerates way waster than any protagonist
 
No that's literally just wrong, it's not a silence spell that makes you unable to cast spells, it just makes your recourse, the thing you use for casting spells not the casting the spells itself, to be drained.

It's like saying "Oh you being out of breath/stamina and being unable to run is the exact same thing with having your legs broken, because you can't run in both scenarios". That's not how it works.
 
Bad analogy since it works the exact same in the game. Here is some example

A: Can't use magic anymore, magic bar is still full but you're locked out of it for a while

B: Magic drains in almost an instant, you're at 0 MP and thus locked out of magic for a while

It literally serves the exact same function
 
It's actually a perfect analogy, because you're equating the end result with the effect that caused that result.

It is not your ability that is prevented from being cast that is blocked, it is your resource required to cast said ability.

Stop making false equivalencies.
 
It's the same function that's what i'm trying to argue, me being at 0 and it continously bringing me back down to 0 very rapidly not matter if i try to use MP potions serves the same function of being at full MP but not being able to use magic

Also this was derrailed from the original argument of Castlevania curses not being actual curses, since they simply aren't (Slowing down, blocking movement, blocking using attacks, blocking using skills etc.)

Even in the 4 specific Metroidvania games that it rapidly drains MP, inflicting curse on an enemy slows them down

This is not a curse, but status effect inducement

This is Castlevania not a random other game.

It's literally called a curse.
 
I'll only agree to keeping curse manipulation if we explain the sub powers of it, since it sorta is important to newcomers who aren't familiar with the verse who look up curse hax and see them possibly having death/mind hax when they don't
 
Curse manip is different for every verse, it's not a universal thing. In Arena it's basically like stat reduction for instance. It should be explained though, like most abilities.
 
I think you might wanna add all the stuff listed to the OP, also BFR for charlotte, explanation for curse hax (power null physical attacks, drain magic, heavy movement slowdown etc.)

Created a Galamoth profile just for fun here. It was hard to actually evaluate and scale him properly, though he should have a vast dominion over hell, due to being a demon lord and having confirmed underlings.

All of the abilities of Chaos are not presented, just links to that it has all of Dracula's and demons.
 
Well because every creature of chaos is part of Chaos and draws their power directly from him, I think it's safe to assume he has them.
 
Really? Well on second thought it isn't the end of the world if they are/aren't listed. Thoughts on the abillities in the OP?
