Eternals discussion thread

Druig withstood getting blasted into the ground by Ikaris (who was definitely being serious at that point, as he made it clear he intended to kill Druig), and still recovered in time to subdue Sprite, which gives me the impression that "thinker" Eternals shouldn't be too vastly below Ikaris, and should probably at least scale above the High 6-C cloud feat that Ikaris performed far more casually.

So, what Tier would the Celestials be? I think creating a galaxy is a 4-A/3-C feat, and they are confirmed to be able to permorm this feats both throught visuals and statements, so I think that this should be their rating.
They might be able to reach 3-A or Low 2-C Tier with the statements we have, but for now those are kinda vague so it's better to wait for that.

I think creating a galaxy is a 4-A/3-C feat
It's around 4-B actually. Though considering one of the Celestials dwarfed a Galaxy, I suppose the strongest Celestials could be 3-B. I don't think they're anything beyond that. And like Newendigo said, the celestials shouldn't scale to each other

They might be able to reach higher Tiers.
More celestial stuff

In this video, it's said that "their influence is felt in the very fabric of existence itself", which makes sense considering they existed even before the Six Singularities that created the Universe.
But it's vague and might mean many things, so it can be used only if it will ever be explained more about this.
So, I agree with the Tier 4/3 rating.

Wasn't it stated the universe was just a void before they made existence? Because if that's the case, 3-B via sheer size is the best I see them reaching, and going off of creation feats, their best creation feats would only 4-B.
I don't think that it's stated that they created the Universe. The Universe was created by the original Singularity that created the six Stones.
They are the "architects of existence" and their influence is felt in the fabric of existence, but I don't think it means that they created existence, just that they molded it into what is now.

So, if i’m correct, the Timeline starts like this:

Void/Arishem > Six Singularities > Big Bang > Infinity Stones Thrown Out Across The Universe > Arishem Creates First Sun that brings Gravity and starts creation.

Honestly, based on all the information we know, It’s either Arishem tanked the Big Bang or Caused it but as far as the movie goes, it doesn’t lean into him “starting” the Big Bang. Being the “Architect of Existence” could easily mean that Arishem creating the First Sun And Generating Gravity kickstarted our Universe the same as IRL.

i just hope that all possibilities are debated before jumping straight to the highest one.

I think that the only Celestial of the movie that should get a page is Arishem, which would scale to 4-B and maybe to 3-B since he should be the strongest Celestial, but I don't know about that last part.
For Tiamut I am not sure if he should get a page, considering that he wasn't even born and all we know about him is that is birth is 5-A.

You sure that calc is right? She wasn't running full laps most of the time, but was going in curves and not running the entire circumference of the planet
I used half the circumference of the Earth, don’t worry. At first I used planet curvature scaling before I realized it was stupid and I just used half the Earth’s circumference
