Eternals discussion thread

The only times the stones amp people is if its directly attached to them or an object they're wielding. Prime example is Thanos using the power stone to one shot Captain Marvel and Ronan uses the stone to amp himself to survive Rocket's energy cannon.

In regards to Thor “Damaging” the Reality Stone, in the scene we see the stone solidify first before blowing up. The explosion itself is even identical to the Mind Stone Explosion.

i think the explosions being identical is the biggest support to the feat.

Just because he's the same species doesn't mean he should scale.
They are both 6-C. The 6-C feat we have for Thanos is baseline 6-C but the monitor which showed the energy stopped before it reached its peak. If we scale him to Ikaris, he would still be 6-C, just not baseline anymore. We saw how even weaker Eternals like Phastos and Druig can survive a very serious Ikaris' eye beams

Agreeing what Revan said so Thanos would'nt be a punching bag anymore pls

The writers have confirmed Thanos is an Eternal. So we can scale him to Ikaris
I'm a human like Brian Shaw, that doesn't mean I can suddenly do 15 reps with 850 pound weights like he can. Belonging to the same species is irrelevant for scaling unless the species is utterly unform like the Zerg and Pseudo-Arachnids

Is there an idea of what the travel speed for the Eternals is Not counting Ikaris or Makkari. I'm reading Massively Hypersonic + Combat speed for Gilgamesh and Thena and Sub-Relativistic Reaction speed for both. There is a few scenes scenes not using speed effects Thena Chasing after a deviant Sersi and Sprite running away from Kro and Ajak running from the Wolf like deviant.

Don't think that would warrant anything impressive tbh
