Oh yeah I've already beaten the game

Malenia took me a while. Had the Giant Crusher. I didn't update the game so I dunno what build colossal weapons got buffed but I used that for the fight and it was not that fun. It's not like I couldn't dodge Waterfowl I just get stuck in attack animations after windows that are usually punishment opportunities other times and she'll start flying in the air. I also had Radagon's Soreseal on for the damage though so even if I took the slightest damage from Waterfowl it basically did most of my health. Also didn't use the BH Step at all.

The bosses I hated with my build were Malenia (mostly just frustration because she's truthfully not even that hard), Twin Gargoyles, and Godskin Duo. Basically any gank fights honestly.

Nani dafuq
I honestly got lucky several times and was well-prepared. I had my Mimic Tear Ashe to +9, the Staff of Lusat in one hand and the Meteorite Staff in the other and I mixed the Cerulean Tear with the Magic Cracked Tear (it boosts spells damages up to 20%) in my flask.
Having a full Int build as a mage, I had the advantage to be able to attack from a distance so I could avoid most of her strikes and attack her at the same moment my mimic did with its own spells. The downside was that, since I'm a full-blown mage with the Snow Witch set so no armor, even with 50 in vigor, I basically had the defense capabilities of a wet paper bag so everytime she was throwing herself at me, I was nearly killed on the spot by her combos.

First time I managed to empty about 1/4 of her health. It wasn't that difficult (she hits very hard but still) until she did the Waterfowll Dance and I got caught up by it and got obliterated.
Second time, I managed to reach her second phase. I avoided the Waterfowll move by simply moving behind my mimir tear so it would take the shot instead of me and it worked. Then in second phase, it got much harder but I was holding my own until she used her phantoms move. I got ganged up and barely managed to keep a bit of my health (I still had crimson tears) after wich she simply jumped at me and nuked me with Scarlet Aeonia.
Third time was just as hard and honestly even harder cause she was more offensive, she impaled me and left me only a bit of health, luckily my mimic attacked her at the time so she focused on it instead. Then second phase it, everything was relatively ok until she used the phantoms move on my tear and killed it, at wich point it was just me and her. And this is the moment I got REALLY lucky cause instead of doing basically anything else (wich would have killed me on the spot), she jumped to prepare the Scarlet Aeonia stuff. I ran away to get out of the aoe then bombarded her with Rock Slings like an absolute madman until she was dead.

For the record, I actually tried the Cerulean Tear/Magic Cracked combo with Comet Azur from the very beginning cause I red people beating her like this in my second attempt. I don't know if it's me but I wouldn't say this is a really good strategy. You're completely stationary when casting the spell and it's very straightfoward, yet the problem is Malenia is moving aside, running and jumping about more than half the time and pretty much everytime she gets attacked so it's not really a valuable strategy (unless your Mimic Tear does the same thing if it is attacked but I didn't get that) and I quickly gave up on the idea.

Malenia is very hard but not disgustingly hard normally. What makes her stupidly difficult is the life-stealing aspect and the Waterfowl Dance (and to an extent the clone move).
Personally, the fights I hated the most were the Godskin Duo in Farum Azula and above all Commander Niall to the Haligtree medaillon. The latter in particular was awful, I HATED this fight, I took no pleasure at it like I did with Radahn or Rykard (or Mohg for that matter since I actually beat him before going for Malenia, btw the Mohg boss battle was awesome), I just wanted to get rid of him, period

Where is that from again? Was it in the remembrance?
Are they thinking about Sellen's line about Radahan?
Well, well... Seluvis is not a name I ever wanted to hear again... But, fine. If it will help you, my apprentice, I offer my knowledge. The stars alter the fate of the Carian royal family. And the fate of your mistress, Ranni. But long ago, General Radahn challenged the swirling constellations, and in a crushing victory, arrested their cycles. Now, he is the force that repulses the stars. If General Radahn were to die, the stars would resume their movement. And so, too, would Ranni's destiny.

But as before I think stars are either different in Elden Ring or people call everything in the sky a star. Since you have monsters called misshapen Stars, Radahn'a stuff and the only other star thing either being an illusion or coming from the Elden Beast (which also may be an illusion).

I don't think every star in the sky is a ******* rock personally. Unless we wanna say their Sun is also one of these rocks. We can see the typical stars in the sky move a slight bit as well during the cutscene, not everything was a shooting star, i.e. meteor, but I know it'll be hard to convince this site.

if that's what you think the argument is then I don't think you were paying too much attention, lad.

Not every light in the sky is a meteor, but there's also no indication that Radhan was shifting legitimate star orbits as well.

The consensus currently is that it's more case by case, and that some stars in elden ring maybe legit while others are just shooting stars.

In Radahn's case, it's mostly decided that it's meteorites. Though IDK for stuff like Rennala and Elden Beast

Rennala's thing is deemed as an illusion here, and Elden Beast is a maybe here.

Yeah but from what I can remember, it was discussed here that the Tarnished never fought her prime, only an illusion of it.
Yeah but Radagon did, and Tarnished fought him so it eventually comes full circle f̵u̵c̵k̵ ̵i̵f̵ ̵i̵ ̵k̵n̵o̵w̵ ̵i̵f̵ ̵i̵t̵'̵s̵ ̵l̵e̵g̵i̵t̵ ̵t̵h̵o̵

I know about the whole Rennala illusion thing. But I remember some arguing that Rennala could conjure up a Starry sky in her prime or something.
I think this comes from Ranni's dialogue before the fight against the illusion: " Send word far and wide. Of the last queen of Caria. Rennala of the Full Moon. And the majesty of the night she conjureth." I don't know if that's meant to be taken literally but since this is Ranni we're talking about, it's actually possible.

About interesting stuff for bosses, I've red something about Malenia about her being possibly still alive after her boss fight

It's not made clear if she's actually dead at the end of her boss fight. Upon defeat she leaves a large flower instead of a corpse, which is a symbol of death and rebirth for the Scarlet Rot. In the bad ending to Millicent's quest, she leaves a near-identical (though much smaller) flower, and Gowry states that in due time she will be "reborn" from it. Malenia also noticeably continues to talk for several lines despite losing her body and Rune (with one exception, every other main boss is scripted to have their death speech stop after the "Great Rune and/or Remembrance acquired" message comes up. The other exception? Rykard) and the Scarlet Aeonia obtained from her Remembrance describes her as if she's still alive and capable of "blooming" again. The Remembrance itself refers to her in the present tense, which isn't the case for any other character.E.g. "Miquella and Malenia are both the children of a single god" vs "It was the vassal beast of the Greater Will and living incarnation of the concept of Order" or "The Red Lion General wielded gravitational powers." Some cut dialogue further hints at this.
("Is this... my first... defeat? Bravely fought, sir/lady. But remember... One day, the scarlet bloom will flower again... ")

Then there's the business with the Unalloyed Gold Needle. If you interact with the flower Malenia leaves after her boss fight while holding it, you'll receive an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone and Miquella's Needle - the latter being a new needlenote with a distinct design and purpose (countering the Frenzied Flame rather than the Scarlet Rot), and the former being a clue on how to properly use it (it's a scale of Dragonlord Placidusax, whose chamber in Farum Azula you need to enter for the Frenzied Flame to be permanently purged). Doing this costs you the Unalloyed Gold Needle, which you leave in the flower. The interaction amounts to a trade and a nonverbal hint, which may indicate that Malenia is still conscious. Notably, right before this option becomes available, the description for the Unalloyed Gold Needle also changes: it now ends with Millicent's quote about how she needs to "return to Malenia [her] dignity and sense of self"; in many quests including earlier in this one, reiterating quotes from other characters is used to give the player directions. And the prompt for the interaction with the flower? "Return the Unalloyed Gold Needle." The implication is that the Tarnished leaving the Unalloyed Gold Needle in the flower ensures that Malenia will still retain her mind and memories when she wakes up as a human, rather than being an amnesiac puppeted by the Rot like Millicent was when they first met. Additionally, with the path to Farum Azula opened by the burning of the Erdtree in all endings she theoretically could even be cured post-game. But since there's no further action from the flower past this point, it's impossible to know for sure what it all really means"

Malenia potentiallly still being alive is interesting 👀and horrifying

Did anyone explore every starting map before going to the round table? Also, I want to play again but I heard that some Bosses were nerfed, is that true?

I think so. Apparently boss fights that involve multiple bosses working as a team had their ai changed so they're less aggressive and don't attack you at the same time nearly as often as they used to.

This is sad, I was planning on playing without help or mimic to take advantage of the difficulty.
