Earthbound AP Revision Poo & Ness

So I did some digging around I found something intresting about the PSI attack Pk Startstorm. In the original Japanese description of the attack Poo stated that the attack was . The character summons a rain of actual stars from the sky. This is the descripton of the attack that is used for media in both Smash bros brawl and Smash 4.

This link shows the translation changes made from mother 2 to earthbound and poo's change statment about starstorm. I was just looking for feedback on the matter and wondering if theirs grounds support that their actual stars being summon to fall. I would like to further add that PK Starstorm Omega is the strongest attack in the game the only other attack that comes close is Ness PK Rockin Omega. I find that since we accept FF7 Supernova as legimate why can't starstorm be taking literal as well.

Well, I believe the statement that them being actual stars definitely puts the cast at MFTL speeds, but I wouldn't take the fact that they're literal stars to try and change AP, because the size of them clearly says otherwise.

Intresting I don't know much about whats accept when it comes to how we judge stars in fiction, but even so the attack when taught to poo by his teacher. he says to POO that the attack can be extremly dangerous for the user if not used properly. Maybe the fact they don't damage the planet have something to do with the PSI control of Ness and Poo, but who knows their size are vague like you said.

I talked to someone about how Sephiroth's Supernova didn't damage the Earth and apparently they fought in a different dimension. So an rpg attack has to be consistent with whether it damages the environment to be considered. If they were real stars, they would have destroyed the Earth.

I could add a "possibly Large star level" to the Earthbound profiles but I still think it's highly inconsistent.

Actual stars are enormously larger than mere planets such as Earth. Unless they were shown at such a size, I do not think that we can remotely count it as anything other than children's storybook logic.

I do think this could still apply to speed tho.

Why? Did any of the cast avoid it? It'll likely be attack speed if that's not the case.
Because it's a dodgeable attack by fodder. Assuming the stars even came from just where space starts, they'd still probably get MHS+ speed
