The Official Calculation Request Thread

This is the official thread for requesting calcs to be done by more the members of the Calc Group and other senior editors.

However, this help is entirely optional, and the people who do the requesting cannot expect that anybody will somehow be automatically interested in doing the requested calcs.

It is not allowed to complain about delays in producing calcs. It is also strictly prohibited to spam the message walls of Admins and the members of the Calc group to have a look at the thread.

The calc group will have a final say as to whether a calc is feasible or not, and will discuss internally who is to do the calc.

In case a detoriation of any manner occurs, this forum thread will be shut down, and the calculation request project will be dissolved.

If a calculation has been performed and accepted, please request that an admin adds it to this page.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This thread is only for posting requests, and for the calculation group to respond to said requests. Off-topic discussion is absolutely not allowed, and will result in the posts being deleted, and the ones responsible possibly receiving a block. However, you are allowed to answer questions from the calculation group members.

Greeetings, If any of you guys are familiar with Fairy Tail Laxus has performed a really cool feat by making an explosion full of lightning in the shape of a dome casually so if we can get a Low-end calculation of his attack potency here that'd be nice. This is the said feat:

You can probably scale it off of Christina which is the Blue Pegasus Guild's Flying Ship

here's a comparison for the head of the ship compared to Ichiya who is roughly 2' 10"

hi can some one help I was think how fast is ichgo cutting speed. because he cut all of senbonzakura what is billion blades in 1 second. so how fast is his cutting speed. and byakuya him self said he cut all of them so he did cut all billion of blades in 1 second. ???

For the Warrod Tree thing; I don't see any way to get an exact speed for a proper calculation, so here are some values:

1 Hour: Mach 1.63

30 Minutes: Mach 3.27

10 Minutes: Mach 9.80

2 Minutes: Mach 49.02

I think 10 minutes is probably more than conservative enough, it'd be high hypersonic at a little under 4 minutes if you can make the case for it.

This is similar to where the Torikoverse gets its Four Beast Arc speed, I believe.

I remember a PE calc on the OBD placed a different buster call ship feat somewhere in the hundreds of tons so that would be consistant with yours.

I think you're overestimating me a bit there.

I still plan to follow what I said in the post above (and that includes not calling dibs, obviously) but if it's any consolation I do have another One Piece feat done, that I'll be uploading today, and which may or may not be an upgrade depending on which value is accepted.

I do think pre-timeskip Luffy warrants an upgrade based on that calc though, so I'll probably make a thread about it soon.

Could someone calc this? The GIF itself came from Cooler's Revenge, but I believe the exact same scene was in the Episode of Bardock. Here, Frieza's Supernova not only destroys Planet Vegeta, but also engulfs and presumably destroys neighboring planets as well. If we could get something out of this, it could be an upgrade for the anime Dragon Ball characters if we consider the Episode of Bardock canon to that continuity. In any case, it should at least scale to Cooler, since his movie directly references the scene.

I was hoping it would get something in the mili-foe range. Perhaps it could be approximately measured by measuring how much energy it would take to create an explosion that envelopes and destroys Earth along with the closest neighboring planet (not sure if it's Mars or Venus) and use that as a low end.

Either way, it ought to help us resolve the debate about Star level Cooler being a possibility or not.

Hi again, I did my first calculating feat over on my blog for Vice-Admiral Monkey D. Garp's Lifting Feat with him just picking up the Iron Ball & Chain I was wondering If you guys would be interested in doing the amount of force needed to toss it across that vast distance

The mass of it came to be 9.91 x 10^9 kg but keep in mind he did all this with just one arm so his total lifting strength should be at least 19.82 x 10^9 kg

The Feat was done in Chapter 439 of One Piece you should be able to go back One Chapter if it helps with the scaling

What do people think of this calc? It's not by me, it's done by a Google+ community called Anime/Manga Calcs Database, done by member Wade Strine. He calculated both the gravitational potential energy for the feat, and also applied his own time frame to get a kinetic energy high end, which I disagree with because 5 seconds seems too short for me. The low end seems reasonable since it was a casual Fujitora who did this.

Fujitora pulverizes some of the big rocks/mountains surrounding Dressrosa with a single 'Ferocious Tiger', should be a really simple calc considering how Dressrosa has already been scaled, so the size of the rocks should be simple. I don't have a pixel scaling tool but if someone can provide me with one I'll be happy to try the calc myself.

With pulverization and violent fragmentation, a rough calc I did put it at single digit gigatons, so it's not a bad feat at all.

To gauge Naruto and Sasuke's strength I'd say someone needs to calculate the power of Naruto and Sasuke's final attacks: Indra Arrow and TBRS. The collision was up in the atmosphere and the attack spread across the countries. We can scale the countries with this calc:

And Naruto and Sasuke's attacks went from Valley of the End(VotE) to the Land of lightning(LoL). But also know the distance between the locations is only the radius of the attack as it spread across it all directions the same distance. Also there is a maximum and minimum to the attack. The closest distance between the LoL and VotE and the farthest distance.
