Dungeons & Divers (RP Thread)

"So, Demiólke, are we going to try and fill that slot in last second or something?" Neltharion asked the Oni leading the group before turning back to the receptionist "Thank you for dealing with him. What was your name, Ma'am?" She asked, not actually annoyed she was ignored since procedure overtook giving names and whatnot

(Dang, if only these guys were recruitable for the dive.)

(Luckily, that's no longer really your problem since you're basically out now. Bye!)

(They say the priests of Vex are "unhinged", and what happens when I give the world "unhinged"? I'm kicked out to the curb. /j)

(Kind of saw it coming and thought "actually, it would be funny if bro got killed by a party member this early in the RP." But eh, the guards work. lol)

Erlik is "escorted" out of the establishment by the 6 Knights, and flown out of Castle City. He is brought to the nearest Walkers Association base, where his crimes are evaluated by the staff— he is found guilty of Attempted Murder of a Receptionist and disruption of a Dungeon Dive. Erlik is thrown into a prison at the bottom of the ocean filled with many other idiots like him, where he will rot for 237 years, as his sentence declares.

Y.O.U. H.A.V.E. B.E.E.N K.I.C.K.E.D.

Lady Mirth would clap along with how the guards kicked that stupidity out. With a wide smile, she hopeful none of that happened to her other allies— it wouldn't be fun if it's a few.

(There has to be a method to the madness, homie. You can be unhinged without being actively belligerent and just a general nuisance— it's not fun to be around. If you wanted to be this actively messed up, you could've waited until we entered the Dungeon, but you didn't, and instead opted to do this.

There wasn't even a time where this was funny. It was annoying and straight up idiotic. Please, never cook again.)

(I'm was planning to say something about Blythe, but I'm gonna shut up for a moment)

"He had it coming, though we would have gotten to see a Demigod in action if he had stuck around for just a bit longer. That's too bad!"

Demi began pondering this entire situation. She wasn't prepared to be down a party member— no matter how annoying he may have been, his abilities would've been an asset.

"I... I don't know." She sighed, rubbing her crimson temples. "I didn't account for this. I... already signed all the paperwork and sh*t, so... I guess we can leave it to a vote. Is going in with 7 people good with you guys?"

The receptionist had already gone to readjust Demiólke's party registration to exclude Erlik. Maybe she could be caught at another, less stressful time.

"Mine's already obvious, so... no need for elaboration~" Blythe would poke Demi's horns and poke more on her shoulder as she gleefully claps and does silly little goose dances.

Neltharion nodded at the receptionist before turning to Demi "Our frontline is basically just me, so either we need more explosive power or someone else who can man the front. Or another healer or something. Basically, in this case I think one more will work." Neltharion said, rather wordy, but it was obvious she was struggling to convey that she thought another person would be very useful

"He had it coming, though we would have gotten to see a Demigod in action if he had stuck around for just a bit longer. That's too bad!"
“I say good riddance! Filth like him will just drag the party down with their self-centeredness and ego.”

“I was planning on getting rid him anyway, so sure, I’m down to go in with 7 of us.” He told coldly, without a hint of joking or sarcasm present.

"Question, how do the summons interact with this? I can get 10 summons, the main problem is the mana drain, I can maintain 1 summon for hours, however the more the number increases, the more difficult it is to maintain the summon, with all 10 lasting 2 minutes before collapsing on my part due to attrition. However, the summons include several that can function as attackers/frontline like Neltharion"

"I'd say relying on summons in a Dungeon like this is probably not the best move..." Says Demi, scratching her neck.

(By the way 3gg, Chester and Blythe are communicating telepathically, shown by the box surrounding their dialogue, so Dakath can't hear what they're saying to each other. Nobody else in the party even knows that Chester is there. Of course, this can easily be solved by saying that Dakath wasn't responding to him)
"A-" moment of stupidity: 1.
"Maybe you should start respecting her personal space from now on!", he couldn't help but laugh at Blythe's antics.

(Oops. Uhhh yeah, Dakath was just talking to himself ig)

(Bro isn't even in the Dungeon yet and he's already getting affected by the schizo aura. It's over....)

"Hmmm- no~"
Still, she would just poke Demi's shoulder as she replied to Dan,
"Yeah, that is why i ask, i unsure too" he says while scratching his head thinking what to do now
"Always having your little buddies with you is not going get by even a few days. Especially when they're stripped off of you one by one~"

Basil slowly breathed out, running a hand through his hair in an agitated, almost frantic manner. He bit his lip, beginning to pace agitatedly where he stood.

“Damn it…bloody bastard almost ruined everything” He hissed, more to himself than anyone else.

"Uhhh... dude? You good?" Demiólke turned to Basil as the rest of the party discussed their next move, raising an eyebrow. "Now ain't the time to be going crazy."

“Good….?”

Basil turned to face the woman…his normally tanned features having turned slightly pale. He stared at her for a long while, before quickly moving to adjust his glasses, his eyes moving to the ground.

“…Good. Right. My erm…apologies, miss.” Basil said softly.

“…This place is…important to my research, so I’d like to enter as soon as possible. That’s all.” He said. He breathed out, flashing her an apologetic smile.

"Right. So... I guess you and Dak are for going in. The big lady is against it. The guy with the robes and tattoos hasn't said anything— Agh! Christ!" Demi ruffles her hair in frustration. They were burning so much moonlight with all of this...

While the group was talking, the lift had long since been fully operational. It was connected to a large railing system that traveled in a downward spiral against the outer walls of the Dungeon entrance— attached to that railing was a cart akin to a train car, capable of fitting around a dozen people. It was rusty, dysfunctional, and crackling with sparks.

"So much indecisiveness for one simple question~ Are they really Dungeon Walkers at all?" Bly would add insult to injury, but should help Demi get the idea that, she is just the same.

"Ooooh, let me guess... is it what I think it is~?" making out the words 'experimentation' as Blythe silently spoke them.
Basil glanced at the woman for a moment, before slowly breathing out.

"Nothing so thorough. More akin to a...naturalistic observation. I simply want to study how this dungeon operates...and bring back what I can..." Basil said softly, seemingly regaining some of his composure.

"....." Demiólke let's out a deep sigh, until crimson energy begins crackling under her feet and swirls around Blythe. What forms around her is a bubble of energy that lifts her into the air.

"I'm not dealing with you right now. You're staying bubbled until a decision gets made."

Basil glanced at the woman for a moment, before slowly breathing out.

"Well, would it be so kind for me to come and help you? Hehe, if you are dire straights, just yel—" Blythe responded teasingly, nodding to herself about it.

But seeing the bubble made her pout and immediately tried to escape. She can't. Sad.

"Now..." Demiólke breathed out, turning to the lift. They'd signed the paperwork. The lift was there.

"....I guess we're going in...?"

“No time like the present, am I right?”

Dakath walked into the lift, and gestured for everyone to follow him in.
