Dragon Ball Super Discussion Thread 100

It's hard to believe that once upon a time, Kid Goku was a genuine freak of nature that would decimate most enemies in his path and just ruthlessly kill them while retaining his child like innocence...not that he actively sought to kill them, but his strength made him a one man killing machine. So yes, I would like to see that again.
OG DB be like:

Dragon ball is a titan when it comes to introducing new people and concepts and then forgetting it entirely
Exactly! You know it's undeniable that Toriyama was an absolute genius when it came to story telling and creating new and memorable characters, but I believe that objectively he was borderline abysmal when it came to keeping them relevant or using them in the story. Reminder: Toriyama was the same guy who forgot 18 was blonde prior to Battle of Gods.

And I don't think it's necessarily a indicator that he was bad at writing, but an example of how there were plenty of times where he didn't know what to do after something or someone was introduced.

Toei (or CC, whoever has the anime rights now) might end up going berserk if DBS anime ever comes back

I just saw this few hours ago, to think Beerus was this close to dying in his sleep (even though Goku was probably bluffing, then again Buu arc goku was almost a psychopath)

Universe

An endless space that encompasses all of the celestial bodies existing in this world.

One of the great worlds in this world that is compatible with the "Makai".

In the Dragon Ball World, the Universe is located underneath Other World where it is sealed off by walls engraved with strange markings.

Within the universe are "nebulas" made up of countless stars, and "galaxies" that are made up of countless nebulas. Each galaxy also has a God to them. The Earth exists in a galactic nebula resting on the edge of the Northern Galaxy, belonging to the solar system.

[Special] There exists a "Space Police Organization" in the universe. However, they do not possess the fighting power to oppose Frieza and the Saiyans. (Daizenshuu 4, Pg 72)

Where did i get this translation ( all credits go to the translator)

I just started playing DBZ dokkan and one thing that stands out from anything else is its ost. Every single character has their own theme for their ability activation and despite being likely to only hear them for a minute this ost slaps.

They even have DBH characters in the game like Heart’s who has one of my favourite themes for this game

He’s also voiced by Dio’s VA.

this is so gas holy shit

ANYWAY, LET'S MOVE ON BECAUSE I GOT A QUESTION FOR YOU ALL.

Outside of the obvious expectation of wanting to see it expand the DB cosmology, what are some other things you wish to see from Dragon Ball Daima?
I wanna see more focus on techniques/choreography, for one, but I also definitely want to see what Toriyama does with the Demon Realm, since that’s infamously been the thing DBH, SDBH, DBO, and XV1-2 dealt in.

from what we've seen so far the depiction of the realm isnt terribly different to whats shown in DBH and DBO and even that little Dabura fight in Z

I saw some DB threads and I have a Q.

Will a thread gets tanked/rejected if like 10 people agreed with the thread and 2 mods disagreed with it? (the content of the thread could be anything).

If it gets tanked how much vote from supporters would balance out the mods vote?
Or the supporters votes are entirely meaningless?

@ScalingRandomVerse Thread Moderators, Administrators & Bureaucrats are the ones who can vote to approve/reject Content Revision Threads. More information about the various roles can be found here. Regular users can't vote to approve threads themselves otherwise the largest/most popular fanbases could get just about any revision passed through weight of numbers and oversight is needed.

Meaningless then

In all fairness, Frieza's power gain from training is frankly absurd. Dude was stronger than SSB Goku after just 4 months of training and, just by image training for a year straight in Hell, then went on to rival a SSB Goku that was at bare minimum 10x stronger then he was after the U6 and Goku Black Arcs (which I say was the case because Goku needed Kaioken x10 against Hit, but only used regular Blue against a much stronger Hit). So it's just as crazy as it sounds.

Plus I think I know what you're talking about and, also to be fair, Frieza only kicked SSG Goku back into the ring after he was nearly knocked out. And Goku was tired still so I don't think that scene is meant to say Final Form Frieza is comparable to SSG Goku.

Now that I think about, are there any other verses except DBH that have higher degrees of immeasurable speed BS
RoF:
Base Goku = Final Form Frieza
SSB Goku = Golden Frieza

ToP:
SSG Goku = Final Form Frieza
SSB Goku = Golden Frieza

🤔
Frieza just built different

I think I remember seeing greenshifter saying that flash can move across 3 temporal dimensions. It's a shame that speed equalisation happens often. I wonder if there's a DBH speed scaling chain though, I imagine that it'll be some insane numbers

That would be timely, there aren't many DBH fans and i don't think there will ever be anything like that.
