Dragon Ball Super Discussion Thread 100

It is. Its also an AP feat
So it makes physical strength irrelevant, because it's explicitly only refers to striking power. The moment you use jt also for AP/DC, SS becomes irrelevant. Also it isn't in his striking power section as justification. Btw mine definition is held by other staffs.

I dont care. your definition doesnt mean anything until its official Wiki standard
Well, my definition makes far more sense and makes "SS" a relevant section. While AP/DC is punches, kicks, bombs, weapons. So no need for SS. Like DC/AP should be bombs, Ki attack, Rasengsan, Lava attack etc. While SS punching universe away, punching a planet level blast, hurting someone with planet level durability etc and you can upscale AP/DC from SS.

Dude...how tf many times do I need to explain?? No one cares what your definition is! Its not relevant!

No, SS can be higher than AP. Let's say I punch a human really hard, it would hurt him and if I make a tennis ball sized paper ball, my AP/DC would never damage the human while my punch would. So my SS>my AP/DC. Easily refuted.

yeah now hit the person with a rock and see what hurts them more. Your analogy is beyond flawed. your argument is literally based on the strength of a material as weak as paper and you expect to be taken seriously 😭

Because these things are possible? Like wtf, accept it it got refuted. Your example is someone else not me.

You have to be joking now.
Like, before i can see that you believe what you saying, but now you have to be trolling Ryzen.

We have to take into account that this was still a joke at the end of the day, it’s hypocritical to say we can’t use one statement about a planet’s size because it’s a joke but then use another joke to justify the Earth of Dragon Ball being the same size as our own. And besides, Toriyama wouldn’t have been thinking about the Earth or Moon’s size when making that joke.

And seeing some of the objections to my calc which ang scales the moon, and I just wonder if we’ve forgotten that Dragon Ball does not take place in a setting similar to our own. It’s not AKIRA after all, we have a monkey boy who literally smashes people into manga panels after all.

And I say if there is any evidence to suggest the Earth of a fictional setting is not the same size as our own, it should not be ignored.
@Ednaxel2

Anyone else feel like manga dbz is a bit lowballed considering all the different statement we have throughout cell saga and buu saga that points towards far greater scaling?

I dont know if raws say the exact same thing but if they do i think this is evidence enough that even average planets in dragon ball are 3x larger than our earth. this would upgrade the GBE of almost every planet destroyed so far including namek and vegeta
Here the second part of it

@Ryzen7900X Should the Super Dragon Balls be used as a metric to distinguish between moons and planets? Because using the 37,196.2204 km as a metric to make that distinction for this calc, it only comes out to giving Low 5-B results. Since we currently have beginning of Saiyan Arc Goku at 5-A, I was hoping to potentially upgrade 23rd Budokai Goku up to that too since the calc has some 5-A values and it would make for a better justification for the beginning of Saiyan Arc over just saying "he's 200x weaker than his Namek Arc key"

Also, I'm still waiting for the anime's scans on these statements

It probably doesnt affect the moons it should more so be used to up the GBE of planets like vegeta or namek and possibly earth although a low 5-B moon makes early dragon ball low 5-B/5-B
