daima is coming in oct 2024 with 20+ episodes

not sure what they could fit with 20 eps, perhaps it's a side thing in the super timeline like broly and super heroes

I wish it would take place after super heroes, or at least during super, partly because if it was before super then we won't get to see all the new forms, and partly because I want them to finally go past end of Z. We'll see though

I still just wish they would continue the manga but if Daima's good I'll shut up.

The animation better be popping off tho. We've waited several years for an anime continuation that isn't a movie and if it's 20 episodes of some mid-tier spin-off shit I'ma be a little annoyed.

I dunno if anyone feels the same but it looks like DBS is essentially milking pre-end of Z content in a very similar manor to the prequel and original content of Star Wars such as adding new lore, characters, plotlines, etc during time-skips however this new content is scattered across different mediums that use different interpretations thus causing convoluted world building (E.g the DBS manga and anime being fundamentally different from each other in a similar manor to how the Prequel trilogy is different with and without the additional content like the Clone Wars animated series plus like any other long running franchises both are subject to retcons).

Also both franchises made a huge part of itself non-canon to the main continuity/timeline (E.g: GT and Legends) then again it makes sense since Akira Toriyama is a SW fan (at least of the original trilogy, one of the few USA entertainment franchises to make it big in Japan).

Japanese animation studio Toei Animation is promoting its 20-chapter Dragon Ball Daima series, which will be available from October 2024 in the USA, Canada, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand and southern Africa. Although it already has pre-sales planned, commented Daniel Castaneda, the company's Licensing Director, he cannot announce anything until the beginning of next year. “Normally all the productions we have are released first in Japan and about six months later we release them internationally because we hope to have 26 chapters to start dubbing and so on; and now we can release them in other territories. This is the first time we will be releasing a global series at the same time. Production is already underway and I estimate that we will finish it around May next year. We are entering dubbing to be launched worldwide in October 2024. For open TV, the most likely is that we will launch in January 2025.” Of the Dragon Ball franchise, there are 639 chapters produced between Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Super .

Yes, but, for the new R>F transcendence, the "fictional" character shouldn't be able to Interact with the "Real" character without external help of that "Real" character (What doesn't happen in Dr. Slump)
 
It wouldn't be immeasurable speed, since his power transcends time and isn't something about speed.

But I don't know why it doesn't have at least a general resistance to time due to resisting the cage + the declaration.

And I don't have the courage to make dragon ball crts.
