Profectus made a nice explanation on it and likewise manga story was somewhat taken from the anime they wouldn't show destruction of timeline in manga properly If they haven't meant in the anime aswell

The bulk of that Reddit post is manga-exclusive information, and half of what is said in the anime is presented through the English dub, besides being a lot of yibber-jabber that never fully addresses how or why the Time Machine could return to the future.

It is simple time machine does dimension travel to reach other timelines they have to just locate the co-ordinates where trunks timeline was before it got erased

They have to just follow the co-ordinates of trunks timeline to where it was before it got erased I am not saying in the sense that they have to go in the past of the trunks timeline
