I don't see how X (A) and Y (B) are 45°, if they are clearly shown to be distinct and lower than 45°. Z (C) is the only 45°, so the conclusion seems horribly wrong.
Let alone X! and Y! are not equal, so it can't be both the same.

It's isosceles due to having the hypotenese of the second triangle as both sides. Don't know why we suppose it's right.

No one’s saying they’re individually 45. What we’re saying is that their sum is equal to 45, and Z (C) is 45 already. So the total sum is 90

So now I measured each of them in photoshop and I got 90°. Doubt your method is easier than measuring itself.

In other thought, C looks like 45°, B should be lowered, 30 or 25°, A 15°, so calculating the sum will be 90°
