Very late to this, but wild ride dbs is going through now.

turns out Jiren and Broly didn’t get retconed into being but instead toriyama followed the anime.

it’s really satisfying having confirmation that both canons have the freedom to scale the characters differently.

Tho, the movie also seems to be its own scaling as well. Jiren isn’t viewed as being beyond the Hakaishins and instead is comparable to Broly and the Other gods (which goes in line with Broly ~ Beerus).

The anime will have a totally different Broly as well if it decides to cover that, which will very likely elevate him far beyond the movie counter part.

Well, not that I oppose it. They just wanted to upgrade SS4's power so that it isn't left so far behind in terms of Power levels, they are doing this to calm some nostalgic GT fans who would be bitching about which transformation is better looking or stronger, or becouse it's their childhood, the same goes for Super fans, so Bandai is doing this to avoid these situations.

If we go by FighterZ as well, they also have SSJ4 Gogeta = SSB Gogeta. Jiren states that SSJ4 Gogeta on his level.

Legends has Syn Shenron as being above Golden Frieza (RoF) and SSJ Rose Goku black. Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Goku > Rage Trunks. SSG Shallot, SSG Giblet, and Nuova Shenron working together matching and slightly overwhelming Syn Shenron, where as SSJ4 Goku was sort of contending with Syn on his own iirc.

In game verse, Omega Shenron is fusion level threat. Also Akira and Bandai doesn't have power-scaler mindset. to them, from SSJ3 to SSB doesn't that much of a power up. DBH did made SSB > SSJ4, and UMX it seem like SSJ4 somewhat equal to SSG, or slightly stronger

Basically he's around Dark King Fu's levels of power

In almost every game, SS4 is on par with Blue.

Look, in DLC pack 14, from XV2, in Parallel quest 151, GT Vegeta fought against Blue Vegeta just in SS1(or 2)....imao, fighting an SSB just in ordinary super Saiyan, and then DBS Vegeta turns Blue Evolution and GT Vegeta turns SS4, both being pretty even .

But, what surprises me is that GT Vegeta just in SS was able to hold his own against Blue Vegeta
