Pandora and Barry made the new 52 universe, however when her and Barry attempted to merge the timelines (creation of the new 52) appareantly Doctor Manhattan, removed events from timelines which is why the heroes in the new 52 seem much weaker than their post crisis counterparts. Also Wally West is now with the Speed Force. here , here

We probably better wait for Rebirth to continue, but it's clear at this point that DC Comics is merging their Post Crisis and Post Flashpoint Universes into one, alongside with adding Watchmen to the mix.

Well, I think that we might be able to upgrade Doctor Manhattan to "At least Low 2-C", considering that he rewrote an entire timeline.

I do not know. We have not seen demonstrations yet.

Hmm. Probably shouldn't have ask that given how obvious that was but fair enough.

So AP is potentially upgraded to "At least Low 2-C". Alright.

Speaking of Manhattan, how is it that his speed is Unknown yet his profile clearly states taht he can react in Nanoseconds, which i believe that reacting to them makes one FTL?

Well, I did not write the profile, but if somebody can do a calculation for how high this would rate his speed, feel free to do so.

The problem is that i have no clue if he can. He probably could but a scan of that saying he could would be helpful first. *Nods*

Can we not just check our Reactions page? Nanosecond-timing amounts to somewhere in the realm of Sub Relativistic - FTL. I say we use 5-10 nanoseconds roughly the average and make him at least Relativistic

I suppose that we could place him at "Possibly Relativistic reflexes".

Perhaps. Though i'd wish we have a scan that says he can react or maybe even see events in nanoseconds and whatnot. That would at least help us (or me to be honest) on further justifying his speed level...

Indeed. I don't care weather we need a calc for his speed. A scan saying he can react within those speed levels is fine enough for me. @Antvasima

Well, you can return him to Unknown speed if you wish.

I have done so. *Nods* @Antvasima

@Everyone else: If somebody is fully willing to get a scan of Manhattan's speed level, i would fully appreciate it to be brought up either here (assuming we still keep this open), on my wall, or on a thread.

Speed is not that important for him anyway
Although he is a teleporter combat speed still matters and I agree I keep hearing he's got nanosecond-timing reflexes but I can't find anything scouring the web as proof to it where does it come from lol

Edit: Apparently it comes from his quote "I have witnessed events so tiny and so fast they can hardly be said to have occurred at all" so analyzers take that as percieving on quantum intervals, and use a low-end of nanosecond while he's most likely much faster

Alan Moore is notoriously oversensitive.

@Nibbler: Hmm. That could at least give us something. Though i wonder what Antvasima think.

The thing for me is that i really appreciate if we have a scan of that of him saying that and whatnot. It just so it helps further justify his (would be) speed level.

I am uncertain. We can probably only place him at "Unknown (Stated to have witnessed events so tiny and so fast they can hardly be said to have occurred at all)" without further specifications.

Fine enough for me. I'll add that next to his speed level now.

Not from the top of my head, no.

He is a brilliant author. He is just behaving like a diva for decades over any perceived slight regarding his writing. This includes using the Watchmen characters for anything whatsoever.

I also find his far left anarchist politics extremely unrealistic.

@antvasima, There's such a thing as far-left anarchy!? As someone who enjoys politics, I can't fathom that kind of creature lol.

Alan Moore is more of the fact that he wrote watchmen to be its own thing. I never like how dc handled Vertigo after the 90s and it sucks how vertigo is a former shell of itself. I don't blame Alan for not wanting his characters to be used shit Jack Kirby would role over in his grave if he saw what dc did to the new gods and Darkseid. They are known to screw over old great stories to make their shitty new ones seem clever. The use of Manhattan just seems like a cash grab and to try and bring vertigo fans back but most left a long time ago.

@Minstry of pain, I dunno if Jack would be mad at DC for the new gods (they are very important to the lore) but he might be mad at Marvel for the recent Captain America #1.

Idk jack had clear Intention's for the new gods and what dc used them for seemed to go a different direction than jack intended. They reconned Darkseid which was awesome finally into what jack Kirby originally wanted the new gods to be. But somewhere they seemed to have lost his vision. But I will agree with you on captain #1 that is to try hard edgy. Doing it so bad. Has marvel not learned from DC new 52 dark and grim doesn't equal cool and original.

Well, in real life, anarchism inevitably leads to social-Darwinism, which is as far right as it is possible to get, but lots of extreme left ideologues believe othervise.

Also, you can read my correspondence with the Captain America writer Nick Spencer over the recent issue over here:
