Speed is equalized for fairness.

Doomguy is at 7-B and can use all weapons,including fists.

Eredin can use magic up to low 7-B for a limited time.

Doomguy is legit not gonna have any problems with storms in the long run. AKA he literally rips and tears Eredin in half

Those magic barriers he created to protect himself against Triss's 7-B magic should be able to take a hit from the doomslayer,giving him some breathing room for spells.
