There's something that's been bothering me, and until now I didn't feel like asking. is X really an expert martial artist?

one more question, can a composite X be used? So he can have his regen powers?

You're correct on the definition of composite characters.

As for X's Martial Arts skills, he has several close range attacks (such as the Nova Tackle) and has access to Street Fighter's Hadouken and Shoryuken. In addition, some of his armors (such as the Blade Armor and Gaea Armor) force him to fight at close range. Finally, he's also an expert at stealth and assassination as shown by his use of the Shadow Armor and his successor in the form of Hidden Phantom.

I don't know why I asked that. As if you would know. Do you have evidence that X can equip more than 8 special weapons?

Because it's also stored into data that to my knowledge wasn't removed. It's just game mechanics that it resets.

In MMX5 he actually used weapons from previous games.

X didn't regenerate every time he got hit during the manga battle with Sigma. Why's that? PIS? To keep the action going?
