Tho tbf an argument could be made that there are different multiverses (which bill does confirm with the string theory joke, so like what bill sees is actually different multiverses in which he wins) also apparently bill only views the axolotl as his equal , dunno why i felt the need to mention that but whatever

Aside from Discord I actually would like an opponent for Bill that truly touches on aspects of his character that Discord couldn't. Like, unhinged super powerful entity that ruin dimensions for fun instead of "cartoon reality warpers"

Bill's "The One" for me was Discord, so Im not really feeling Bill return anytime soon.
Im not quite sure how many other "unhinged powerful entities that destroy for fun" fit that well for Bill.

Mxy is bit different, since recent material has made him essentially be good intended in some weird way, if he really wanted to actually destroy shit, he'd easily have done it already and he did lol Mxy would fit Discord better personality wise.
Dimentio in general is bit tricky since he only has 1 game to work with. Low number of material for character might be hard. DB usually avoids those too.
Discord fits so well, tho he fits the "similar powers, different mindset" while some want MUs like "different powers, similar mindset". I guess BillDiscord might count as sort of rivalry too since it was long lasting one too.

Dimentio also wants to destroy everything and then make a new world where he can rule over it. Their goals and methods of achieving it (sustaining something that would destroy the multiverse) are like practically 1:1. They both manipulate the main characters and others in the story to ultimately come to power and almost end the world. They also try to make deals with people too. They're actually pretty damn similar.

We literally are told that the Nightmare Realm is not killing itself, but rather being consumed by the Edge of Reality which will eventually occur to any reality, it's not a NR-exclusive thing.
There is the mentioning of a 10th Dimension, and I don't see how the Trilazzx Betians dying to a ship crash bunks them being 7th-11th Dimensional. Having extra axis in your body doesn't make you invulnerable especially when you die inside a ship made in your dimension.

As said the show been gone for 10 years and unless a lil special happens with Bill coming back to the fray to take advantage it doesn't justify a Bill runback especially when Discord was big one as far as MU goes every other option for bill is a meme or not really selling here

Not necessarily, there is a distinction between universes and timelines in the verse, and we aren't told that the Rift blew up those universes (the Rift itself isn't mentioned in the book at all). The thing is that the Rift would only destroy the multiverse if it continued for too long, something that the other Bills must have stopped to "liberate" their universe as our Bill would do, as he is the one who was keeping the Rift going. Which is why Time Baby was worried about the universe/multiverse being destroyed or whatever he meant by "creation", Bill didn't cared at all.
