I read the G1 blog, that ************ did not want to research Unicron.

I mean the stuff for Galactus and other Marvel characters has just gone through major P&A revisions, so they get those handed basically on a silver platter.

Transformers pages haven't been updated in years, research would be a daunting task.

IDW shockwave is one of the few that's actually legit on the uni sphere
But eh if they using an MCU character it be Infinity Ultron

Eh, I feel that would be more suitable with HA Dio. Thanos himself has more connections to Shockwave

• Both are big purple villains
• Both come from a near extinct species plagued by some form of tragedy
• Both would spent many years plotting and gathering cosmic stones as a means to save their worlds (Shockwave seeks to create an infinite fuel source for the Transformers race while Thanos seeks to save the Universe from starving itself)
• While both don't have inherently bad intentions, their way of going about it is absolutely psychotic
• Both are massive overarching antagonists and their machinations have been a center piece for the first major arc of their respective series.

I think they both have pretty high animation potential, with the regenesis ores and the Infinity Gauntlet, with both becoming universal threats with it, and their base AP in similar ranges, though Shockwave arguably blitzes in speed.

I feel the fact DB bumping Transformers to 3-A has kinda negged a lot of their MU options.

Rodimus vs Invincible in particular has me worried because if they do in fact scale Rodimus to 3-A, then this is just Gohan vs Invincible 2.0

Next two options is either Wall West or Luke Skywalker.

With Wally, you'd have to composite the shit out of Rodimus to get him to match Wally. At best, composite Rodimus is like Low 2-C.

With Luke, which may be feasible, and Luke probably needs a runback, though Rodimus kinda statstomps, even if just G1.

Out of the two, I'd prefer the latter.

I think the original idea was entropy, but then some marvel author created another abstract with that role, then tries to make it as an Eternity's antibody during the Abraxas saga but that doesn't make sense because that's the Living Tribunal's job, then in Ultimate-saga Marvel tried to say that he was The Rebirth/Lifebringer but it doesn't really make sense because that's the Phoenix, so return to be Galactus to be just one big hungry dude

Maybe he’s the concept of The Hunt or The Predator? That something must die in order for another thing to live.
