999 was only even able to affect 682 due to 999 being a child of the scarlet king and yeah 682 weaponized 999's ability. The foundation has tried other methods of empathic hax before and it did **** all to 682.

@WeeklyBattles yeah I knew that, I've been getting into a lot of the SCP lore lately and I've heard that 999 is considered the child of the 7th bride of the Scarlet King and due to it it can affect it's Eldritch siblings. So said empathetic hax only worked due to it's heritage and only for a short bit till it weaponized it.
Though wouldn't MLP need to hit him first? IIRC they use this friendship beam in their empathetic hax which 682 can just dodge

682? More like, Gary Stu. In terms of how strong it is. Because dear god I know it's supposed to be unkillable and all but after a certain point things get absurd even by SCP standards. I'm pretty sure it's literally impossible to kill 682 without being a smurf or higher dimensional outright.

I mean it's outright banned from dying due to being cursed by SCP 343 from being killed and the 682 we've seen is just a shell of a higher dimensional being so in that regard yeah it is practically hard to kill it.
Also tbf to 682, it can and has been incapacitated by other SCPs so even if you can't kill it it can be beaten.

Except it did? Its confirmed even in its canon article to have adapted to it as well as adapting to even more potent acid being sprayed on it with a high pressure hose

I mean this is acid which melts through steel and metal so it's not exactly normal acid though I can't disagree on the point about him not having adapted to it.
Though it's very likely he's already adapted to it, seeing as he can submerge himself in hydrochloric acid without damage and has adapted to the acid mucous of SCP 811

A shame the SCP top tiers got downgraded from 1-B to 2-A, possibly Low 1-C. What even was the reasoning behind that anyway?

Oh okay, I just find it kind of weird because it is acknowledged on the 1-A SCP profiles that the multiverse contains uncountably infinite dimensions but I'm guessing the top tiers didn't scale to the full extent of the multiverse
