The first one shows the mother boxes uniting and terraforming earth to apoklpise(aka steppenwolf wins) which would have killed everyone as shown in the film. The second shows darkseid winning but farther in the future since he fought and killed King Arthur. This could be two separate ones or the same own, we see darkseid infect Superman with the ALE in a state of emotional vulnerability in his black suit and in the next vision we see Superman in his red and blue suit hovering over the destroyed hall of the justice league and the corpse of kilowog.

I think Lois dying wasn't actually what made him succomb, it just accelerated the process and put him in a vulnerable state of anger and grief, he would have succombed like everything else in the end

But that’s still resistance lol. So long as it doesn’t neg him as fast as it does everyone else, it would count. Plus Zack said that Lois dying made him susceptible and nothing actually says that he would have succumbed to it otherwise.

Not really, synder straight up says that he would become susceptible to the equation because of Lois’s death. Which would imply he would resist it under normal circumstances
