DC Profile Clean-up and Revisions Part 2

I restructured the page a bit, but you need to separate the main Vertigo characters that are a part of the regular DC multiverse, and the ones from self-contained series, such as Transmetropolitan, Fables, or Preacher, who should go into separate sections.

You could just place all the main Vertigo characters under the same section, whether or not they are cosmic entities.

In addition, Zauriel and Animal Man are not Vertigo characters, and Jack Horner and Boy Blue are both Fables characters. You forgot to add the former.

The Source, The Overmonitor, and the Decreator are not Vertigo characters by the way. They are regular cosmic entities.

Well, I did admit early on I wasn't the most knowledgeable on these matters.

My guides were mostly the categories (since, you know, that whole "substandard or nonexistent description" thing I've been whining about since day uno.

Yeah, I think I'll clump all the Vertigo characters in one spot, easier to do.

I have edited the page. You only need to add Bigby Wolf and Jack Horner to the "Vertigo: Other" section. Then you are good to go.

A separate "Fables" section might be better on second thought.

The Dark Multiverse is indeed larger than including the Source Wall and the Monitor Sphere. Not just the Orrerry.

The Source Wall was broken, and we all know that it contains the Monitor Sphere. [[1]]

Which led to:

As a result of it being broken, the creations outside the Source Wall made its contents look like a tiny fish bowl.

More evidence.

She states that the Multiverse is tiny compared to the Dark Multiverse, and looking at the map, you can see that the Multiverse (including the Source Wall) floats on top of the Dark Multiverse. She is not just talking about the orrery since she demonstrates that the Dark Multiverse on map is larger, and even by statement directly confirms this by saying that their tiny Multiverse FLOATS on the Dark Multiverse, as per flipping it.

I'm not saying that Barbatos should be High 1-B though, there is no DC character to my mind that would scale to the Dark Multiverse at all, no way, but the Dark Multiverse is indeed High 1-B. It literally is. It's been consistently portrayed as larger than the Morrison Source Wall and described as being floated on by it, making the Source Wall looking like a tiny fish bowl.

The Dark Multiverse is more like a subconcious High 1B void that contains nightmare universes, that get destroyed and are unstable, rather than an actual Multiverse.

@Crabwhale

It seems fine to use now.

@Nether

So what, if anything, do you think that we need to change.

Thank you very much for the help.

No problem. Not gonna lie, this project has been exhaustive (probably my biggest ever too, aside from maybe this), but hey, if it makes the verse FABULUS, it was worth it.

The page looks much better now, yes. Hopefully it should help to attract more visitors to the wiki.

Unfortunately, a lot of profiles do still remain substandard.

And considering the strain this redesign has already put on me, I'm afraid to say I probably won't be able to help much with them.

Yes. It is a problem. I have asked Sandman31 to give input here. Thanks again for the help.

Paul Jenkins also confirmed that Rama Kushna was talking about higher dimensions. Not just JM De Matteis. https://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/11130/111308723/6563030-paul+twitter.jpg Their cosmologes confirm each other as the stories are close.

The problem arises is that when you look at Morrison's Multiverse Map, there's only like 5 Higher Levels of Existence, not Infinite, which doesn't look like High 1-B to me, but this forum and board tends to prefer Unifying DC's Cosmology for some reason which I personally find wonky, but I will not argue with it.

I have no idea what your motivation behind lowballing DC is, but it is a futile one.

Lowballing? We rate quite a lot of characters as 0 or 1-A. It isn't like we are deliberately trying to be uncharitable.

@Nether nine

Alonik doesn't look like he's commented here in almost a month.

Nether nine said:
No sorry, I was talking to that guy with the Jaden Yuki avatar.
Responding to him; Alonik is the guy with the Jaden Yuki Avatar. Whom hasn't posted since November 18, so uncertain why he's responding to him considering how long ago the posts where.

@Nether

Do like this to avoid misunderstanding regarding who you are talking with.

I don't think that we need to create a statistics key for the depowered Lucifer.

I am also uncertain about giving the Monitor and Anti-Monitor 2-A in base statistics.

The first scan: the monitor has stated that he is linked to all positive matter and they flows through him, given him powers. Is it a form of Abstract Existence?

He is a physical rather than conceptual being, so probably not.

Okay, maybe the Anti-Monitor was powered by the antimatter universe when he fought the Monitor who is powered by all positive matter universes. And maybe the antimatter universe is stronger than one positive matter universe and as strong as all the positive universe combined? But i don't know.. If it's the case, maybe we should upgrade them to 2-A.

I would prefer input from Matthew Schroeder and Sandman31.
