It’s technically accepted but only for the manga continuity but it should be accepted for anime tooWell, I think it makes sense!
I also think it's fair that Zamasu should also gain a type 4 immortality (due to coming back with his thoughts, I think that fits well) maybe a type 8 (while the thought or idea about justice and order exist, he will always come back )It’s technically accepted but only for the manga continuity but it should be accepted for anime too

type 8 (while the thought or idea about justice and order exist, he will always come back )
And there's a certain standard on the wiki regarding immortality type 8 :"Abstract Existence (Type 1; By casting aside his divine vessel, he became his very will/thoughts of justice and merged with the fabric of the universe)"
"It is discouraged to list this type if it would be redundant due to the same power already being described in another ability of the profile"
Maybe in a different context, but Whis's statement is made in regards to Zamasu's immortality which is due to his regeneration.Wouldn't the statement just default to EE ressitance rather than Mid Godly Regen?
Because immortality is referencedWouldn't the statement just default to EE ressitance rather than Mid Godly Regen?
It’s referring to his immortality so there would need to be proof that it’s referring to EEWouldn't the statement just default to EE ressitance rather than Mid Godly Regen?
It’s stated due to his immortality type 3 that that type of erasure wouldn’t work on himRegeneration, often referred to as a healing factor, is the ability to heal from wounds at an accelerated rate, with many characters proving capable of regenerating from wounds that would be lethal to normal humans.
Mid-Godly: The ability to regenerate from the complete erasure of body, mind, and soul.
To clarify, did either showcase regenerating from erasure?
- Examples: Gods from Saint Seiya, Indramon (Digimon), Kaguya Houraisan and Fujiwara no Mokou (Touhou Project)
In canonical Saint Seiya the Gods never endured any soul erasure or anything like that, only sealing.Regeneration, often referred to as a healing factor, is the ability to heal from wounds at an accelerated rate, with many characters proving capable of regenerating from wounds that would be lethal to normal humans.

But his survival from hakai is reliant on his immortality which he has via regen so why would that make it a resistance?Unless one shows signs of regeneration to an ability, then one would only get general resistance to a particular ability.
Immortality type 3 if that helps but due to his immortality he wouldn’t be able to be killed by someone who can destroy the soul body and mind (via Hakai)To clarify, does he have immortality via regen or regen via immortality?
Well the only characters who are only considered immortal by the series is Zamasu and Roshi but roshi’s immortality is age based and it was referring to Zamasu so it would just apply only for ZamasusOn the profile, I see the following:
Do we have an agreed-upon physiology of "immortals" in DB? Are "immortals" in general unaffected by the Hakai?
- Regeneration (Mid-High; as an immortal, should be superior to Cell and Buu),
- Immortality (Types 1, 2 and 3)
It’s stated due to his immortality type 3 that that type of erasure wouldn’t work on him
Edit: to mention hakai erases your soul body and mind
I disagree, in the Manga He was explicity shown regenerating from the Hakai
while in the anime its just resistance to Existence Erasure .
His Anime Immortality type 3 because of his usual regeneration not because of the statement "hakai won't work on him"It’s stated due to his immortality type 3 that that type of erasure wouldn’t work on him
He can’t be killed off from hakai due to his immortality that doesn’t sound like resistance to me but here is the scanI see. To be immune to the effects of the hakai is different from being able to regenerate from the hakai.
One has nothing happen while the other has you go through a process to get back to normal.
Can someone link me to the manga page of Zamasu regenerating from the Hakai?
I wasn’t trying to say it was I’m saying due to his immortality that He got from shenron its stated that hakai wouldn’t finish him off meaning he has mid godly regenHis Anime Immortality type 3 because of his usual regeneration not because of the statement "hakai won't work on him"
Manga only scene. This is why he got his Mid-Godly Regen not because of the statement.I wasn’t trying to say it was I’m saying due to his immortality that He got from shenron its stated that hakai wouldn’t finish him off meaning he has mid godly regen
Yeah agreedSince the anime doesn't elaborate as to what methodology he is resistant to the Hakai, I'll have to lean toward disagreeing with Mid Godly Regen for Anime Zamasu for now and just leave it as general EE resistance.
Input from other staff would be appreciated.

Roshi lost his Age-based immortality due to the leaves thing.Well the only characters who are only considered immortal by the series is Zamasu and Roshi but roshi’s immortality is age based and it was referring to Zamasu so it would just apply only for Zamasus
I don't agree with this sentiment, given that the scan is in clear reference to Zamasu's immortality and not his power level.Since the anime doesn't elaborate as to what methodology he is resistant to the Hakai, I'll have to lean toward disagreeing with Mid Godly Regen for Anime Zamasu for now and just leave it as general EE resistance.

To clarify, you disagree with EE Resistance in general, not just the regen stuff?I don't agree with this sentiment, given that the scan is in clear reference to Zamasu's immortality and not his power level.
Just the EE resistance, with a slight lean towards agreeing with the regen upgrade. To clarify, you disagree with EE Resistance in general, not just the regen stuff?
I agree with this personally, unless anyone else can bring up evidence against it.I think Mid-Godly, or Possibly Mid-Godly is fine since Zamasu do show degree of regeneration from his immortality granted by Super Shenron, and Whis explicitly stated Beerus can't deal with that kind of Immortality
