Crown of Dreams | Role play

"And at the very least..." she holds the scepter like a staff, walking back to the Grandfather, "We got this..."
"That's good, we already have an add-on for our plan, you just need to know how to unlock it, I can probably figure it out while you guys recover" Grandfather Said while taking the scepter giving a nod to Yoshi

"Give it back when you have a clue on how it works..." she said, squatting down as she sighs. "These guys are getting tougher and tougher.... We're gonna have to do dirty tactics if we wanna beat more of them..." she says

Yoshioka appeared behind him, her Bunraku form dissipating as the lens and glass dome from the sky disappears along with it.
"Shout-out to my dearest comrades Deel, Jack, and Rex for pitching me this idea. And thank our sponsor Lawliet for making such a wonderful appearance!" she says, clapping her hands as she walks right up to him.
"I dont say this often but....you are more powerful then you let on, despite your....appearance and personality"

Commented to her with arms crossed

"Then can we rest already for a while, i believe after all that happened we deserve that much"

Afterwards Deel blows steam from his nose, to cool off his body

"Ehhhh~ It's nothing, just doing my job..." she says, brushing off the compliment, humbling herself.

"Yeah... At least we got a this of a break... I could go for some pizza.." she says, sighing as she remained squatted down.

Yoshioka walks with Deel as she reaches into her pouch. Luckily, there's still a small pack of cracker that haven't been caught in her previous battles. She takes one and takes a bite. The taste was a mix of umami, savory, and a slight spicy kick to it. She looks at Deel and brings the pack slightly closer for him to reach, "Hey, want some? It's the least I can do...." she asked politely, the steam coming off of her transformed state dissipating.

"We need to do more..." Lawliet said. "From what I can tell, we haven't gotten much stronger if at all from the last battle. Meanwhile, our adversaries get us closer and closer to dying. If we plan to keep going down this road, then I have to spend my time getting stronger..."

"I agree... But it's best for us to not draw attention so that we can avoid fighting them. In return, giving us more opportunity to create havoc right under their noses." she said.

"Recover first from the wounds before trying to improve yourself, no pain no gain is what they say"

Says Deel

"Because you showed up just for the last part, unlike others whom have been from the start there for it, so dont flatter yourself that you arent as hurt as the rest"

Replies to his comment

"It's not a matter of flattery. I'm just not going to sit around for some 'recovery' if I'm not injured. If you are, deal with that yourself. But I plan on getting to work as soon as possible."

"Who said you should stay like the rest specifically, for all i care you can go like you did till the last moment from earlier"

Retorts back
"That skeleton wasn't chasing after us...you came over here to fight it. Sounds like you guys almost died picking unnecessary fights. I had a pretty good reason to stay behind. If you want me to leave, I'm perfectly fine with that. But somehow, every time I find you all, you're busy losing a battle, so I wouldn't deny the extra hand if I were you."

"The skeleton had to be stopped, but obviously you wouldnt know what was the deal about that....due to you not being there to begin with, some help you were, coming in the last moment...."

Afterwards he approaches closer to him

"If you were so willing to help, you would have been around us to from the beginning....yet you complain we were losing....i didnt see you do much that made the enemy be visibly hurt or incapacitated in comparison to the others...."

Lawliet chuckled, not having any other reaction to Deel approaching. He then turned to Grandfather. "I like this one, he's fun...and as long as the rest of you keep out of collapsing pyramids, I think all parties are in agreement here."

"Fun you say....hmm..."

Deel just leaves the convo afterwards and asks Grandfather

"Old man, lets go already...have to recover myself physically and mentally from this adventure now"

Yoshioka sighs, shaking her head at the disaster that this the conversation between those two. She turns to Lawliet, her face serious this time.
It took a while before she spoke, so merely stared at him for a few seconds before saying something.
"We.... fought a group, the Red Hand, sent by Lady Tiamat to find a fragment of a relic. Currently, the skeleton that we fought had that scepter, and the Grandfather's trying to figure it out... To be completely honest with you Lawliet, I am grateful for you being here. However, you need us more than we need you. All of us, including you, had made a contribution to the fight, even if a little. So give some consideration to your teammates, it'd be the least that you can do." she says, her tone calm yet solid, like a counselor to their student.

"Oh, you're really fun." Lawliet said. "Wanna guess how old I am, princess? 37. I've spent 37 years of my life fighting, with far more enemies, and far less allies. Nothing has changed in the past weeks that's made me need you all more than I have in the past. Heck, if you think you yourself need the group, then you underestimate your own capabilities. I don't deny the fact that we're a stronger force together, but my presence in this group solely depends on how many people see me as a problem..."

"I know you are 37. I know that you fight a lot and I know that you're more experienced...." she said, unfazed by his statement. "Yeah, I don't see you as a problem. Given you're experience and all that, you're a great asset for so many of us to learn."
