Consistency of Saitama’s normal punch, along with an armored Boros durability suggestion.

Going back over some of our long posts since covered the speed topic pretty thoroughly, and I'm trying to think if there's a suitable compromise.

How about something like this for his speed rating:

Varies; up to FTL when casual (Saitama frequently fights at much slower speeds than he is truly capable of, but has shown he can effortlessly dodge Post-Sage Centipede Garou's attacks when not taking the fight seriously. Consistently blitzes most enemies he fights against), up to MFTL when serious (Saitama could blitz Awakened Garou across the surface of Io, and can get progressively faster over time with Accelerated Development)

Almost good, it’s just that I would put it more like this…
Varies; at least FTL when casual (Had shown he can dodge Post-Sage Centipede Garou's attacks when not taking the fight seriously, but some of his punches were countered and evaded as Garou grew faster. Easily dodged Flashy Flash’s surprise attacks while completely off guard. Consistently blitzes most enemies he fights against), up to at least MFTL when serious (Saitama could blitz Awakened Garou across the surface of Io, and can get progressively faster over time with Accelerated Development)

Well think of it like this
Saitama, when just walking around like normal, is able to dodge a sneak attack from flashy flash, meaning that there is most likely never a point in time where he would be going slower against someone.
Saitama just defaults to being ftl.
It’s just really consistent. Blitzes everyone who’s slower than sol, and is shown to be countered and surprised by characters who are ftl. Flashy Flash was actually shown to be nearly comparable in speed to casual saitama during the scene where they kill that monster together and he calls him “kinda fast”
to me it just seems really clear that Casual Saitama starts out at just above 4x sol or something.
Which actually lines up, considering the speed calc for saitama’s attack against Geryuganshoop was 4.32c anyways….it’s just really consistent

Dodging a sneak attack from Flashy Flash would not make him FTL.

Flashy flash will be downscaling from platinum sperm quite soon
regardless he would upscale from a rela+ character to begin with.
Flashy Flash is only "Possibly Rel+" for impressing Saitama in the first place.

Him not being blitzed is the reason it got downgraded to that timeframe in the first place
I think you're misunderstanding. The timeframe of the entire distance that Saitama travelled for the calc =/= the timeframe it takes for Saitama to blitz Garou.

The original calculation assumed that the entire feat took place with garou’s 1 millisecond reaction time and that he was blitzed across the entire thing, but that was downgraded to just using the psperm timeframe instead

Anyways going back to this
Flashy Flash and Garou aren’t too far apart in speed, and either way both are close enough to the speed of light, Saitama while completely off guard reacted to flashy but considered him kinda fast, while he also called Garou kind fast but was soon outsped a few times by him, so all I’m saying is that the most consistent end seems to have a casual saitama’s casual combat speed being ftl by default
Again, he reacted to both Garou and Flashy flash when he was off guard, so that means that he’s likely never moving slower than that in a fight.
