Thanos AP stomps and speed blitzes. Applejack and Rainbow Dash by themselves can't seal Thanos, and Thanos' AP and own hax will one-shot both of them before either have a chance to react.

Probably not, tbh. The likelihood that Thanos one-shots a single pony before they can seal him is greater than the likelihood of them starting with sealing, and IMO sealing is the only way they win here. BFRing to the Moon will do nothing.
