After originally thinking he may have found an ally in conquering this new world for his Ashen Lord, Infernal Nasus quickly realizes this is not the case. This is a being who feeds on the meaningless concepts of hope and friendship, and must be extinguished. Time to see who's fire prevails.

Rules:

Nasus is in Infernal Form

Nasus' Fate statement is not used

Natsu is in X791 Dragon Force Form

Who wins here and why? Can Natsu smother the Infernal's flames with his own, or will he be overwhelmed by the demon dog's onslaught?

He can try to kill Nasus before he uses it. Nasus prefers to engage his target before using Wither, and Natsu may be able to land a killing blow before then. Infernal Nasus is not super likely to use his age manip.
 
I mean Infernal Nasus has a much more direct and deadly approach to combat than regular Nasus, even his lore implies he spams age manip:

" A three-headed monstrosity raised from some far-flung, hellish abyss, he withers life with his merest touch... then burns it away. "
 
Withering life with a touch doesn't really sound like the ability Wither, since Wither doesn't need a touch. It seems like a separate death ability.

But I forgot he had touch-induced death so unless Nasus gets 1-shot by Natsu he is probably winning.
 
Natsu has the + sign, so he's at least half way through. Nasus has no calc but infernals can rip "great mountains from their foundations" and Volcanic Wukong is known to split such mountains.
 
1st TS DF Natsu > Etherious Mard Geer > Base Mard Geer > 1st TS Jellal = 578 MT.

Natsu's scarf also resists death manip.
 
Well since we have to basically assume Nasus is baseline, that gives Natsu an at least 5.8x AP advantage, which will certainly help.

Hardly. At best comparable. Natsu himself said Crimson Lotus (his finisher) couldn't finish Mard off and only weakened him enough for Gray to land the finishing blow

If Nasus gets too cocky he can take a huge hit he probably doesn't expect out of a mortal. Not saying that Natsu is likely to kill him, but rather that it is possible.
 
Its possible for Natsu to win here yes but its far more likely that Nasus aged him to death as its in character for this version of Nasus to spam age manip

Only after he is transformed does he wither all life he touches in-character. Beforehand he is just contemptuous to mortals.

This is not world breaker nasus.

The darkness manipulation stops him from being able to move and then he would be aged to death.

@Assallt Nasus is not cocky, in base form he used it against regular humans.

Natsu should be able to powernull/burn the darkness away, he did the same to a similar technique.

Wait does the darkness do the holding down and ageing away thing or is the second part a separate thing?

The time he takes to do that would result in his death via age manipulation. If he does that Nasus would know to take him seriously.

The key said all previous abilities which would include World Breaker as well.

Natsu burned away/destroyed Zero's darkness magic so ... Natsu also burned time as well

It should not though.

Anyway, the age manipulation is not time manipulation it is straight up just withering the person away.
 
@Weekly would world breaker nasus be higher in AP with his EE, it does specify all of existence after all.

At that distance, yes. If the person is pretty close he will run up to them for a punch.

Nasus has dozens of meters in this key.

Edit: I am curious as to why Natsu doesn't have Type 1 Immortality despite being an Etherious who are all Type 1 immortals.
 
I'd like to note that the proof for EE wasn't accepted anywhere so I don't know why anyone would suddenly edit it in without a supporting thread.

As for the matchup, seems like Natsu can take it with his overall speed and AP differences.
