It ''can'' be mindhax. Especially in 40k where Ahriman has a case of causing mindbreaks and seizures by "gently squeezing" on a mind. It's either biology manipulation or mind manipulation.

well anyway lets stop the whole point about if souls exist or not (its a discussion for a latter time anyway).
Mercer has been agreed on not having a soul for well over 3 years now through multiple revisions upgrades and downgrades alike if you disagree with it make a CRT(although just being straight with you here its not gona go anywhere since most people agree on the souless thing)
and since we use profiles and mercer has immunity to soul manip as of now (and for the forseeable future) and due to that he nullifies all the culexus haxs and equipment. Not to mention that most of mercers hax would be a gg for the assasin his absorption that works on malecular level which works upon touch his disease manipulation also works on such a level and hax been shown to bypass any and all types of defence be it gass masks or full body hazard suits as it basicly moves in between molecules and the healing factor of mercer would keep him in the fight for good as the assassin has nothing to permenantly kill mercer nor can he knock him out due to mercers lack of organs or a brain to rattle
and all of this brings me to this point..... Mercer stomps the assassin into the ground as he is a very hard counter to the blank
