So currently, BFDI is rated “possibly 4-A” for these 2 reasons:
  • Leafy can turn into Evil Leafy which meant she was creating her pocket dimension inside of her
  • Evil Leafy sustaining her pocket dimension through her lifeforce makes it scale to her physicals
However, these 2 reasons shouldn’t be justifications for 4-A as neither of them are involving any physical effort nor having any implications that the hax scales to their physicals, especially since Leafy and Evil Leafy aren’t the same person. But that shouldn’t matter, because as it turns out, we already have a solid justification for why they should not just be “possibly 4-A”, but rather solidly 4-A instead.

In BFDI 24, the bugs were capable of devouring a recommended character named Giant Pink Evil Leafy, who, as her name implies, is literally the same species as Evil Leafy (Corrupted lemon leaves). As such, Giant Pink Evil Leafy would scale by having Evil Leafy’s pocket dimension inside of her, which then gets destroyed by the bugs. Given how the thickness of a leaf is 290 micrometers (Which would be the compressed pocket dimension’s diameter) and that these were recently born bugs devouring Giant Pink Evil Leafy (Especially since GPEL is featless), it would be very easy to destroy the pocket dimension by eating up her small stomach in one go to destroy it. Plus, given how the contestants regularly one-shot the bugs, all of them would upscale from them destroying GPEL’s pocket dimension.
So, these would be the new justifications for each character:

Bugs: Multi-Solar System level (A group of them is capable devouring a recommended character named Giant Pink Evil Leafy, who is the same species as Evil Leafy, which would include the destruction of the pocket dimension within her stomach large enough to house a starry sky in the background, which requires this much energy)

Everyone else: At least Multi-Solar System level (Capable of one-shotting bugs) or (Comparable to other contestants capable of one-shotting bugs)

Possible Refutes

“The pocket dimension wasn’t destroyed!”

It has been heavily implied by Book that everything inside of Evil Leafy got destroyed/killed when Evil Leafy was crushed to death by the weight (Especially since we see her body violently splatter to a pulp after she gets crushed), which is essentially confirmed when all of the members of Team No-Name (Firey, Gelatin, Golf Ball, Tennis Ball, and Rocky were all inside Evil Leafy‘s stomach dimension when she was crushed) had to be recovered from the HPRC, which meant that the weight essentially damaged the location of her stomach where the pocket dimension was and destroyed it in the process.

“They didn’t die from the weight, they died to other things while inside of her!”

There is no proof that they died to the other factors like the spikes, pits, heating vents, and acid inside of her. Mind you, when you encounter Match for the first time in the game, she’s trapped in a box she couldn’t get out of, which had none of the deathtraps inside of it. When you encounter Ice Cube for the first time in the game, she’s stuck inside Lego Brick’s Dungeon where she can’t get out, and while there is a vat of acid below her, none of the contestants would really be that careless to kill themselves in dangerous situations knowing recovery is impossible without the HPRC. In other words, the only way those trapped contestants could die if they cared about their lives is if the pocket dimension was crushed and destroyed by the weight, thus further explaining the first point.

“This is piercing damage!”

I’ve already stated that the width of a leaf is 290 micrometers, which would make it very easy to affect. And not only were the bugs built to be strong according to the Announcer, but the thickness of their jaws is already large enough to cover more than 290 micrometers as shown in the math below:

Pencil: 470 px/1.755 meters

Firey: 418 px/1.56082978723 meters

Firey: 365 px/1.56082978723 meters

Bug length: 43 px/0.18387857767 meters

Bug length (Using the big bug from the previous image as reference): 399 px/0.18387857767 meters

Bug jaw thickness: 16 px/0.00737357704 meters, or 7.37357704 mm

Which is over 25 times the diameter for the surface area needed to affect the compressed pocket dimension. Not to mention, David was immune to the bugs and it is heavily implied that Firey survived after getting eaten by the big bug. While you might think Firey died because everyone else did, why would his flames still be active then? Also, the only reason the contestants died to the bugs was because there were endless amounts of them duplicating to which they couldn’t handle it, whereas they would have no issue dealing with a single bug.

tl;dr Everyone becomes solidly 4-A with updated justifications
