Kenpachi was holding Gerard.
A. Gerard final form was been held by Kenpachi aka the reason Gerard was on his knees the whole time in that form and never walked.
B. Kenpachi was strong enough to take off his legs and they never regenerated because Toshiro's ice negates hax aka reason why Gerard took on a reishi form instead of a solid reishi one.
Either way, Kenpachi wasn't K.O. from the fight entirely.

Kenpachi was holding gerald and then he was frozen, then he started regenerating and reforming and before he did anything else he got absorbed, so no, kenpachi did nothing to that form, neither did toshiro and byakuya

Actually, I just went thro the chapters and found this:
1. Gerald regens
2. Idk if kenpachi passed out pr something cus he does not appear
3. Gerald attacks renji and ruki and byakuya stops the attack with bankai
4. Toshiro and byakuya seem to be fighting/evading gerald
5. Gerald is able to move, so I assume kenpachi was out or something cus he does not appear to be besides those 2
6. Gerald gets absorbed before he can strike at toshiro and byakuya

Two misconceptions:
1. Kenpachi was up in the fight again.
2. Gerard wasn't able to move or get up from his knees.

During the reread kenpachi did not appeared on a single panel, only toshiro and byakuya where fighting/evading gerald till he got death beam

Because we were already shown were was Kenpachi during the fight, and we are shown the "effects" of his actions by Gerard not been able to move or get up. The finale was on a rush, so Kubo couldn't waste panels showing Kenpachi again.

Only his upper half (which is the one that broke) seem to have transformed

Gerard was completely frozen.
A. Gerard regenerated his upper half and Kenpachi continued to held his legs. (Most likely of all three options.)
B. Both lower and upper halves were not able to regenerate because of Toshiro's hax. (We know this is proven false, because we see the upper half again, so this one is not the correct answer.)
C. Gerard only regenerated his upper half, for some weird reason contradicting his unlimited growth in size, and his regeneration has a limit. (A CRT needs to be made to add his regeneration limit.)
Is either A or C as the correct answer:

That's from CFYOW
SK and any piece of him are basically immune to Ichibe's Zanpakuto.

It's both, the resistance is listed on Yhwach and SK's profile.
Though it should probably also be added to Mimihagi, Pernida, Gerard and Gremmy.
Maybe even the Fullbringers as well given that they get their Fullbring by containing a fragment of the Soul King.

Aizen as well he has the soul kings nail. Hogyoku also has the power to create beings like the soul king. Stated in cfyow

Didn't he feed the nail to the Hogyoku? It didn't exist inside of him iirc he stole it from Rangiku.

well since he is fused with it, he should resist it or the hogyoku could nullify ichibei's ability if it affected aizen.

It would be resistance to power nullification and conceptual manipulation if they were to get it.
Ichibe erased Ikomikidomoe's name and gave him a new one which in turn took away his power, he broke free and regained his old name upon eating a Soul King fragment.
