They did the boy dirty. And then proceeded to say that without him, they wouldn’t have the reiatsu to power the gate. Really had Kenny and the Visoreds also contribute and Mayuri pull up to amp everyone else’s reiatsu to make up for the loss of him 😭😭😭

And now BBS tryna make a Beyond Bankai when we ain’t even seen his actual Bankai yet.
 
Gremmy with 6 clones still lost to shikai Kenny, someone Gerard already matched in power. And later on got few more power ups.
 
Gremmy reached his limits in the meaning of the rules that he put to the match, I mean by that, that for the rules that he has set, he reached his limits cuz Zaraki could cut through anything, so id say once again he more likely lost to his stupidity
 
We must consider Auswählen.

When Gremmy died, his power moved to Yhwach. And his power was shared to schutzstaffel by Auswählen.

The reason why Gerard and schutzstaffel are powerful is because they received Gremmy's power through Auswählen.

We don't know how much power he gave them or if it included the power of Sternritter outside of the ones that got Auswählened.
It is implied by Lille that the power boost wasn't so big and was mainly used to revive them.
 
I should give it a watch. There was some hype surrounding Jujutsu Kaisen a few weeks ago.
 
No clue tbh. Don’t watch or really read it and afaik, they use Curse Energy to fight demons or smth. That and Sukuna is voiced by Junichi Suwabe which automatically makes him the best character. None of the afterlife stuff Bleach is known for iirc.

i was gonna mention yu yu hakusho but i think everyone and thr grandma has atleast watched it once in thr lifetime
 
i get you what you mean but on the other hand i don't want to be the pessimitic Debbie Downer, what other solid shonen have had overhype?
i know demon slayer was blowing up but that was done by ufotable definitely deserved, imo the only studio now that can hold up the consistency.
 
After reading a few chapters of JJK, it doesn’t seem amazing or anything. Compared to the anime clips I have seen, I feel like it’s a KnY situation where the manga is decent but the animation and sound design is what carries the hype.
 
from the opening alone, the color palatte? mix with the cgi is very Aesthetically pleasing it reminds me of A-1 pictures when they do those promos for FGO.

It's not about something being good or bad, it can even be great, but a lot of times these "peak Shonen" arguments end up throwing other series under the Bus to make that point as oppose to just arguing that the series is good on its own merits.

It's Always Insert Shonen is good because it's not like these OTHER SHOWS, ITS SUPER SPECIAL AND UNIQUE.

For example, at its peak of popularity when Season 2 was released My hero academia was constantly cited as a "Deconstruction" of the Shonen Battle manga.

oh yeah, i get what you mean i've gotten this argument too but its now for political reasons
 
The opening of jjk had very similar vibes to Bleach, it of course as molded into its own feel but the starts have the same vibe (not the music opening)
