I've been saying this for the longest time.
 
Is that not already the currently accepted interpretation? I know there are the FB/FB Shikai and Bankai > Dangai arguments but regaining the power he lost referring to Shinigami powers in general was always what was accepted on the wiki.

No. I've had it consistently argued to me for years that the Ginjo panel is irrelevant.
 
Question for y’all

Do you think Yama should scale to High 6-A for being stated capable of destroying SS via existing?

Without getting into a debate about it I’m just curious if people are like “yeah that’s reasonable” or “no that’s wank”
 
Don't we have a calc for it?

Although the nature of the feat and what he should be scaling to makes me uncertain. It is presumably an over time feat and yet for the length of time that we saw Bankai Yama active he for not cause any major environmental damage.
 
I’m asking if he can casually destroy SS by existing if y’all think his big boy attacks that put all his flames into em (Tenchi Kai sumn) should fully scale to High 6-A

Curious for opinions not deliberations tho
 
10 min is still an enormous amount of time imo
Yama said he need to make it as soon as possible, they are also all superhuman. 5min at best should be enough.

Another thing I think, but not sure about that, is that Yama should actually contain inside his body the total energy of the feat.
 
IMO the fact that the supposed feat never occurs on-screen and is up to a large degree of interpretation makes it more difficult to trust as being a solid justification for such a high rating. That's my view.

To be fair, It is not "such an high rating" when the author literally write that Yamamoto is gonna burn to the ground an entire planet, that's literally the intent of the author.
 
wait i mixed up my words i think bankai yama would've destroyed the seireitei maybe parts of the Rukongai
or maybe even burn the surface of ss but damages point is reasonable aswell

Also, Soul Society doesn't refer to the planet, the novel clears this up quite clearly, it's only assumed he was going to destroy the planet because the alternative is a high result that nobody would accept.

I can get into what exactly Soul Society is but now isn’t the time lol I was just curious if y’all thought it was fair to scale Yama to the SS bust rather than the lowballed power value that isn’t even an energy
 
i would've liked some off panel feat of randos talking about the devastating after affect of yama going bankai across ss but surface level seems fair
 
SS would've been destroyed before Yama, and we know Yama isn't immune to heat since even he was going to turn to ash. So Yama is more durable than than the planet/all the surface 🤔.
 
i miss the good old days on youtube when yama was sun level, grimjow was star level for distorting space and ichigo was uni+? for breaking through a dimensional barrier

it was roaring thunder pursuit oh no its got scans and oddly similar to the bleach crts ive read on vsbw except some statements taken literal and wanked.
this was years ago tho so things def changed.
 
They sort of explain what is goal so you can contextualize his plans and interpret his ideology some more. Nothing really to add tho.
