BAN-KAI! Bleach General Discussion

I was hoping the TYBW anime would handle Ichigo’s merged form and true Zanpakuto abilities differently from the manga but the recent episodes (I’ve only seen clips and short summaries but they line up with my memory of the manga) seem to suggest they’ll simply follow the manga. Personally I found his manga abilities and the battle with Ywach a massive disappointment. Hopefully the anime changes course.

The anime has already changed it. Ichigo’s more varied in his usage of Getsuga than the manga and he’s used Blut in his TS state in the anime now too. I have no doubt we’ll see more Hollow techniques than just GRC Getsuga when he fights Yhwach.

Nice.

Random topic but I always thought Ichigo would end up with some form of Acausality or Transduality.

Yeah. Once she gets to Wahrwelt she tries to sense Reio and cannot, proclaiming him to be dead. Do you think that implies she could’ve sensed Nugget King had he been alive? Or do you think Soi Fon is just making a hasty conclusion based upon a lack of information.
The latter. Both people below you also seemed to mean the latter when considering the context of the rest of their posts.

I doubt anyone was ever capable of sensing the soul king, outside of Aizen who was aware of his existence
Even yoruichi couldn’t sense the difference in Yhwachs Reitsu.! New episode showed it, basically no one noticed it except Aizen. Even Ichigo couldn’t sense it or didn’t want to tell Yoruichi about yhwachs change in Reitsu.

It would have been weird if ukitake didn’t posses highest amount of reatsu within sereiti. He should have higher reatsu reserve than yamamoto

I was thinking, and that’s hypothetical, can the Husk just be very strong but yet not reaching transcendence?
Shutara and ichibei are threat to the cosmos yet no trascendence, the husk could be the same.
Just huge Reiastu + hybrid.

The prime SK was fully trascendent, but the husk itself maybe not.

who is trascendent is just massively superior to those of Shutara ichibei or the husk.

Scaling of squad zero and reio candidate is very different and there's a massive gap. I will touch these when cosmology is revised

No, the husk is definetly transcendent.

One group can make the realms shake, while going to full power.
The other passively maintains existence, just by existing.

The husk is also what made Yhwach transcendent after absorbing it

what would be a good counter to this?
(Basically saying movie 1 is not canon)

"Ukitake straight up says Orihime and Rukia has been training for a month in the training ground in SS."

"Klub Outside Q&A 127, Kubo litteraly says "I'd be happy if you could watch the movies as a parallel story rather than considering it part of the official canon".

It doesn't need to be countered, it's mentioned in the main source material now, which is supervised by kubo himself.

Meaning it's just irrelevant at this point.

Wasn't he talking about the hell verse movie in particular here

But why is Renji reciting the poem and why an image of Zabimaru, what does he have to do with it? In this part of the manga, the only thing he does is get beaten up by Gerald.
Same reason Askin got a volume cover and poem in the ordinary peace,a volume where he barely shows up(if at all).

there should be a CRT detailing all the information regarding the canonicity for the movie, pros and cons. IMO this is a pretty damning statement though apparently the movie was implied to have happened in the anime? What other evidence(s) do we have for and against the movie being canon?

Yeah Nugget King’s reiatsu has far more implying it cannot be sensed than the other way around.

Ichibe on the other hand is vague. We know people could sense Shutara, but with Ichibe it’s entirely vague, and while he never does anything that would indicate he necessarily scales to Yhwach, he also loses via Almighty GG. I could see Ichibe being that gap between transcendence and not. And you could somewhat support that with Aizen not claiming to transcend all Shinigami until fourth fusion despite being stronger than Bankai Shutara with just his second fusion. But he could also just be speaking broadly about his state of transcendence instead of applying that statement to just his fourth fusion.

1) More than a month passes for when the movie can take place and the movie only spans a couple days.

2) Kubo can be speaking generally here, since for the most part the movies aren’t canon, but the new episode just explicitly confirms MoN is canon, and Kubo himself also directs the readers to watch the movie in order to understand why Ichigo said he’s been to the Valley of Screams before

1. Manga kubo saying to watch it to better understand

2. Ichigo saying he has been there, and the only time that happens is on the movie

3. Anime straight up tells us that he went there cus of the events in the movie

Iirc someone was asking a question about hollow Ichigo in the hell verse movie and this was Kubo's answer

It's not about Bleach: Memories of Nobody (scroll down to question 127). It seems to be about Bleach: Diamond Dust Rebellion.

In cour.3 ep 2 we see Adnyeus separately creating the 3 worlds at once.
In CFYOW Vol.2 it was stated there’s infinite torrents of time, and in Vol.3 it was stated there are infinite possibilities. And that besides what we know about the Almighty altering infinite futures.
Adnyeus isn’t affected by the Almighty nor Orihime’s power plus it was stated he transcends everything.

So shouldn’t he be tier 2-A+ for prime Soul King considering he both created Soul Society and its time, and he transcends it..?

I’m not too familiar with how multiversal scaling works so I’m just asking, hope someone can clarify.
