Badlands of The Post-Apocalypto Thread 4

"How did you want to stop them, just fire an attack between them to get them to stop or something?" Nero asks

Saving them both doesn't seem like the best use of time. If they already fought, they are bound to either fight again, or just leave the group, so either way we lose out on at least one of them. He thinks
 
"Dammit, Ukyo is Going to get incinerated, I can't just stand here and let him Die, I must Stop her !" Amastris says as he Rushes into to the Town
 
"Hmmm we can try that. If they wont calm down then we can just let them kill each, while losing one may be unfourtunate it can be worked around"
 
Nero nods in agreement and draws the sword he was given from his side, and holds it at the ready.

When the scene of the fight was in his view, he would hold the blade above his head, the blade seemingly glowing, aiming for a spot between the combatants as to get their attention, he would then swing the blade down, sending a beam of energy straight in between Sophie and Ukyo's locations.
 
Ukyo goes behind cover too, that being some other crumbled building chuck, as more large icicles are mortar fired to Sophie, with each having a different angle of trajectory..
 
BTW, because of Sophie melting the icicles, which are composed of frozen air, a rather thick fog is created around her, causing the pyromaniac's sight to blocked out quite a lot.
 
Uhm, like, beam happens, icicles are blasted.

Ukyo rapidly looks at who fired it, sees it's just allies, doesn't think much of it and just continues bombarding the pyromaniac.

The ice user stomps on the ground, freezing solid the area beneat his feet, then controls the ice crystals to turn the frozen soil around him in to large dirt-ice spears, which he fires in the same mortal-like way against Sophie, with the still present fog of the icicles she has melted still greatly blocking her view.

Since they are made of a ground core, even if the ice is melted the projectiles won't be stopped.

Simulaneusly, several ice lines shoot out from where Ukyo stomped on the ground and go towards the cover of the Fire User, them causing a large stalegmite to shoot upwards one they are beneat her feet.
 
Well, unfortunate. A bullet shot out of the gun that Alison was holding, her trajectory aiming right for Ukyo's legs. She was stone faced all the same as she tried to gun down this fighter.

Sophie, meanwhile, realized that she hadn't much else to do besides go back into her fire form. She chuckled and then the cracks appeared on her body again, and she erupted into flames...melting most things in her way and rushing forward, out of cover, flames of fire spewing out around her.
 
Amastris Finally arrives, and the First thing he does is throw a precise Fireball at Alison's Gun, which Breaks it

He Then runs in between them and says "What are doing? You're going to kill each other! You do know you have nothing to gain from killing each other, Right? It actually brings more harm than good, So please, Stop, and if you don't,I'llbe Forced to.....Use...My..Special Attack "
 
Corvus had placed the things he traded for into his bag, having followed the others back, he stared at the fight unfolding.

"What a waste." He mumbled to himself.
 
"Oh, thanks for the threat. Very interesting and all but unfortunately it doesn't scare me." She chuckled. "But fortunately for you I don't plan on turning anyone else into barbecue besides that man. Even I have standards, thank you. I'm not feeling very threatened."
 
This is such a bother. Nero laments

"Can you two stop for now at least. The beam was supposed to be a sign to stop, but apparently it didn't work, so instead I'll just say it. Stop the fighting already, and let's get moving."

Although it's not even just one person, at least two people in this group want Sophie dead, so even if they stop fighting, she likely will end up driven out. So why am I doing this again? He wonders to himself immediately after saying that
 
The bullet, because of Ukyo being behind cover and his Instincts telling him of the danger, misses the target.

Ukyo sees Amastris rushing in-between them, but he doesn't really care.

"Eh Eh, she's just gonna be a pain in the ass if i keep her alive, better to cut out the bad grass."

The Blue Haired Man responds to Nero.

Ukyo's figure becomes light blue as an aura of cold starts radiating from his body and a 1 kilometer size heavy snowstorm appears on the battlefield, blowing away the fire from the building and reducing the sight of everyone minus Ukyo to nigh-zero.

Using his improved control over ice, the icemancer creates giant ice arms around the battlefield, far enought away so they aren't instantly melted by the fire aura, which pick up large pieces of ground/concrete and throw it at the fire beast, while he himself starts backing away trought the cover of the storm since he realises a ranged fight is the only way he can win.
 
''Of course they didnt stop fighting... tsk was it really worth stopping?'' Sanson thinks and asks himself as he quietly stands behind Nero.
 
"I would like for everyone to know that I was the one who was attacked, and therefor all my actions are justified," she said quite casually as she moved past a good chunk of the concrete thrown at her, even blasting some of it away. She chuckled. "Including this one."

She held a hand out and rushed forward as fast as she could, a blast of fire spewing continuously out of her hand, hotter than molten steel, feeling like it came from the eruption of a volcano itself. Hell, she was the volcano, and this imbecile was the landscape she was planning on destroying.

"Can you please not incinerate him? He's no threat, your fire powers makes you nearly invulnerable to his attacks, and I don't want a member of the Group to Die because of a Childish tantrum" Amastris then makes a wall of Fire between you two "there, no one gets hurt,I guess?"
 
Corvus notes the reduced visibility, suddenly, he moves his hand across his bow, vacuum arrows begin spewing forth from it, not aimed at the fighters, but rather to clear away parts of the snowstorm, each arrow pushing away parts to clear a path for him to see, the arrows curve away from hitting the fighters or anyone else.

"There, now we can see the fight."
 
@Andy: There are multiple stores in the town, including gun stores, food stores, equipment stores, and several pawn shops. Many are closing as the sun sets.

@Hl3: You see a couple dozen people resting as you enter. A fire pit is near the center of the building, people huddled around it.

(Crimson) is there, listening to an old man rant about how music used to be so much better when he was a child.

@WHY: "Oh, a few places. A mining town, Dallas, some park, and a big old cult. Not in that order."
 
"Somewhat of a shame, that one of them will likely die. It's rare that I find individuals that might be worth observing like this." he replies.
 
"Well, the more likely one to win is of course the fire user. But even if she wins, there will likely be issues, seeing as at least one group member has admitted that they want to kill her." Nero says, pondering it

I guess I'll just watch for now.
 
"I don't understand why it is that these two are fighting, nor do I understand why you want her dead." Corvus says to Adrian.
 
"Maybe, there is another person trying to stop them right now though, so I'll let them try first." Nero tells Adrian
 
"Honestly losing one of them would be unfortunate since it will simply reduce our numbers and chance of survival, but if they want to kill each other stopping them now wont change that so its better it be solved now" Sanson says as he observes the fight.
 
@WHYNAUT: Along his travels Cole comes across several people celebrating and walking opposite to him. Eventually he sees the burning coal town with the massive fight in the center going on between the elements.

"You're quick to trust some, but not others. Why is that? I don't think her doing this changed anything, the miners were revolting, this would've turned violent no matter what, the city would've likely burned too." Corvus replies, showing practically no emotion.

"The girl is interesting, I'm curious to see what happens with her, the man less so, although I suppose there's still something to him." He continues.
 
She was having the time of her life with this fight, when suddenly...there was fire. And a lot of it. A giant wall of fire right in front of her, flashing before her eyes. Fire that she wasn't in control of. Fire that could be harmful.

Her eyes widened and she stumbled back, losing her footing and falling on her rear. She scrambled away, hand held out to the fire. "G-Get away from me!" She squealed our, voice suddenly high pitched with a hint of desperation. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I'll stop, I swear! Don't hurt me!"
 
Ukyo sees the flaming woman just ... stop chasing him ?

This is odd, since he thought this could have only resolved with either one of them dead ...

but he stops attacking.

Thought he keeps quiet and the storm up to not give out his position, just in case Sophie is trying to decive him in to lowering his guard, while also backing away more.
