@Kuroiha Volume 10 of the LN is coming in november i think. As for right now you can read Arifureta Zero, it's linked in the op, 2 volumes are out.

It tells the story of the Liberators such as Miledi and Oscar, it's pretty good. Really if ppl had issues with the mian story due to stuff like idk the harem or misconceptions about Hajime's personality, none of that is there.

It's about a group of people, fighting against the gods, standard action, fantasy stuff.

You can proceed to the WN if you want too, the LN ended around chapter 142 i think. The LN just adds extra stuff, the story is the same as the WN.

Btw what's your thoughts on the series so far?

The series is pretty good. It's been a wild ride, and has been entertaining (in both humor and action). It's definitely been a good adventure. Reaching this point, I noticed Hajime has definitely started to regain a lot of his lost humanity. He now also accepts Shea as a lover, and is willing to admit that Kaori might have a chance as well. He would also help his old classmates in order to keep Kaori happy, and is at least humane enough to protect Shizuku and the others during battle, and give them a chance at killing monsters in order to be worthy enough to get the ancient magic. He also smiles a lot more.

Overall, I'd give the LN an 8-9/10. Would recommend. Anime and manga seem to be... lacking, though.
 
His parents are manga authors and game developers and he wanted to follow in their footsteps, but then he got isekai'ed, treated like crap by the people around, seen hell itself itself a hole for 10 days with a lost limb and no food and water and unable to die due to ambrosa.

So he thought to eat some monster meat which he normally wouldn't do if he was thinking clearly since monster meats kills you on a cellular level, but since he had ambrosa, he kept healing, his cells broken down and being healed over and over, hence his looks like his white hair after his transformation.

Stuff like his metalic arm is cause he is a chuuni who thinks it's cool, and he has even added many features to it like a rocket punch. He is very much aware he looks like a chuuni, multiple ppl have called him out for looking like that.
 
Ok so atm i think the characters having after stories year 1 and 2 keys are unnecessary.

The only reason they did before is because of Helmut and Hajime's planetary storm feat, which is greater than what they currently scale.

Since that feat is no longer moon level there is no reason to separate the characters by years.

For one, keeping track of where certain feats take place in the after stories is a pain, since the after stories jump all around the timeline.

Not to mention, keeping track of powers is also a pain. Tio has a feat of stabilizing the minds of a city of ppl in year 1, but Yue doesn't show that same sort of feat till year two, though obviously as a genius magician whatever Tio can do, Yue can as well, so Yue should have it in year 1 too.

Bottom line is until we get some higher feat in the after stories, i don't see the point in having separate keys.

So space magic is boundary manipulation, it can create entire dimensions as well as manipulate the boundaries between things such as fantasy and reality. A skilled user can turn reality into illusion and illusions into reality.

This wasn't mentioned in the WN, the WN just said it manipulate boundaries LN goes into detail. This could be a very broken ability.

Also metamorphosis magic manipulates organic substances and creation magic manipulates inorganic substances. This was also said in the WN just didn't think too much about it, but it should give the characters matter manipulation.

Evolution magic is info analysis + information manipulation.

Restoration magic is time manipulation, gravity magic is magic that manipulates the planet's energy, spirit magic is magic that manipulates the incorporeal elements of sentient beings such as memories, thoughts, consciousness.

The issue here now is the proficiency of the characters, at this point they just learned what ancient magic can actually do, but they definitely have to train it to get to it's full potential, don't think Yue at this point can turn illusions into reality and vice versa, though Yue and Hajime did train so maybe they can, will just have to see where the LN goes, cause it's adding things.

I will make a revision thread for vol 10 stuff later.

It is interesting on the expanded explaination of those ancient magic; I do agree that they need to trained for the full potential of those ancient magic from what I read.

From where the LN ended it should only be 2-3 volumes before the main story is over.

It's already confirmed the after stories will be released as LN, but i wonder about the format.

The author obviously will try to make the timeline consistent, the WN he can just do whatever he wanted but don't think he is gonna be allowed to that in the LN.

I am thinking a volume of the after stories will have a main arc like the Tio arc and then a collection of the short stuff that's not an arc.

Speaking of the after stories despite finally getting back to an arc, the Kouki arc, the author is getting busy again so it's on hold again, he is busy with vol 11 of the main story and vol 4 of zero.

The after stories really aren't gonna progress much until the main story is done and he can focus on it.
 
These are interesting; honestly, I will be excited when the Afterstories and Volume 11 are released :)
 
So a couple things, i think Yue's key of "After Being Possessed By Ehito" is unneeded, for 1 throughout the entirety of arc she didn't do anything and then at the end she basically mind controls Ehito with the only one of his abilities she could use atm and helps Hajime create concepts to kill Ehito. It's only in the After Stories where she has control over all of Ehito's power.

And final thing is Hajime is obviously a genius, he calculated everything about Noint, is ingenious in re-purposing his transmute skill to be useful, developed all his artifacts etc.
 
So after reading volume 10 of the LN I noticed that there are a couple of possible abilities Hajime and his party could have access to

Future sight-Restoration magic allows the user to interfere with time and see into the past and future

Reality manipulation-A skilled user of space magic could turn illusions into reality and vise versa

Creation- "Spirit magic manipulated the incorporeal Elements of sentient beings. In concrete terms, it could be used to manipulate heat, electricity and other matter less energy that circulated in a persons body this also included things like memories, thoughts, and consciousness. With enough skill a user could take those incorporeal elements, duplicate them and create a new soul out of them, In other words create another person.

Tio's immortality should be changed to longevity as dragon man do grow old their lifespan is just ridiculously long. There are some other things I wanted to discuss but I forgot the rest.
 
As i said in the other thread just cause the ability gives access to those sort of abilities doesn't mean the user is skilled enough to use them.

Even in the Afterstories nobody uses future sight except Shea.

Reality manipulation is a no it specifically says only a skilled can do that, we don't know if Hajime and co have gotten skilled enough to do so.

Creation is same.

All of these abilities are hypotheticals the characters can have but until they showcase they can use them, we shouldn't give it to them, even in the Afterstories only Hajime and Yue have shown information manipulation for things other than making things evolve.

Creation magic is matter manipulation, space magic is boundary manipulation etc, but the characters have been using limited aspects of them ie using creation magic only on ores when it can work on any inorganic matter, using space magic only to manipulate space when it can do things like manipulating reality etc.

They just learned the full extent of what the abilities can do but we don't know if they can use them to their fill extent yet. The LN might change things and have them use them more but so far in the afterstories much of these aren't used, nobody has used boundary manipulation except for one of the demons in hell, nobody uses future sight except Shea etc.

Agreed with Tio having longevity instead of immortality though.
 
Didn't Hajime create a robot maid with its own soul named Freesca in the after stories? Wouldn't that fall under the creation category since he gave life to another being? Also I noticed that with soul magic Hajime and the others can achieve immortality by switching bodies so should Immortality be added to their profiles since they have enough mastery over soul magic to switch their bodies? I also noticed that Yue can create 1,000 mini lightning dragons in volume8 is that enough projectiles for her to have Domaku added to her page?
 
Don't remember anything about Freesca but Hajime when he fought Ehito did create a pseudo soul.

Idk about immortality, from what i remember Yue and co where the ones who switch Kaori back to her original body. It's never been a case of i can't die cause as long as my soul exists i just switch to another body by myself.

Danmaku is fine with me.

Anyway as i have said before, we need to see the characters use the abilities to their full extent then we can add them, seeing ppl's information in others words Information Analysis and Subjective Reality, are abilities the LN introduced and we haven't seen them use them yet.

Hajime asked Kaori who was the best at restoration magic to put her restoration magic in a crystal so it would have the effect of extending time and that took her a lot of effort. This was Kaori from later than the events of volume 10, when Hajime and co were training to beat Ehito, so it's not as causal for everyone to have the ability, in the WN at least.

By the Afterstories Kaori can indeed causally use time manipulation.
 
Freesia is a robot maid Hajime created/ gave life to in the after stories she first appeared in the Lillian arc and is part of he Fleur knights that guard her. I guess this would fall under the category of life manipulation since he basically created a person from scratch. In volume 6 it was stated that one could theoretically obtain immortality every time their body grew old. I think that falls under the category of type 6 immortality. I also think Tio should have resistance to empathetic manipulation as she can control her mental state at all times.
 
But that's the thing, it's theoretical, nobody has actually done it yet. That's the issue here with everything, it's all theoretical.

Resistance to empathetic manipulation for Tio is also fine.
