All of Boku no Hero being FTL

Mina Ahsido was able to fight and dodge Ayoama's navel laser during the sports festival. Both happened in the anime and manga. Everyone should scale to or above them. Why isn't everyone in boku no hero ftl?

"Lasers" aren't assumed to be speed of light without evidence.

Laser/Light Beam Dodging Feats

Aoyama's lasers already contradict light properties by being able to exert actual force and don't have aby good evidence of being lightspeed

Huh, interesting

Being able to literally push back the user in the opposite direction is still a pretty big red flag tho.

Also even if it is real light, the cast being FTL is a an outlier.

> Why isn't everyone in boku no hero ftl?

Does this question even warrant answering?

When the majority of the cast aren't even capable of dodging bullets, asserting that everyone is FTL is laughable.

Or it simply doesn't have the properties of a normal laser, preventing us from assigning it the speed of one. The sol interpretation isn't more likely than this one so we default to the lower interpretation, it's how it works here.

It passes all but one criteria, the source argument. Your move

The bullets are simply ftl, created to deal with obvious super humans.

And the fact that the characters have taken races multiple times in the series and they didn't end in 0.000000001 seconds didn't make you think that maybe they're travelling and fighting at slower than FTL speeds?

Scans for all of the criteria it passes? Because I don't remember it passing a single one of them, besides it looking like a laser.

And this would still be an outlier.

Thirteen calls it light, which would default it to light speed. Aoyama's suit specifically uses mirrors to refract his laser to shoot from his knees. They also use his laser to refract light off of a disco ball.

No one is arguing travel speed. Combat speed/=/ travel speed

That's probably because you're using a generic name for the images, just add random letters and numbers.

But that's fair tho, it might actually be actual light then. Although it would still be an outlier as I said.

But travel is not completely unrelated to combat.

Iida without any speed boosts could run at about 35 miles per hour in the first arc of MHA. It would be absurd to think that he could kick a million times faster than he could run.

If you get pushed back by the force of the laser, have trouble dodging bullets, and otherwise have feats that put you far lower than FTL, odds are it's not a real laser.

Light literally pushes you. But I agree with the other points, if it's real light it's an outlier.

We've already gone over how all of those are all ftl and how it is a real laser. Try to read the thread please.

We can talk about how goku can be shot by bullets yet is mftl.

Can we talk about how Goku getting shot is an outlier and how you're comparison is a false equivalency? The laser, if it is real, is the only FTL thing in the entire series, everything else is hypersonic+ at best. Hense, it's an outlier.

You're providing no proof that the bullets are FTL other than scaling to FTL characters. Use evidence, not circular reasoning. I did read the thread, I just think your arguments male no sense.

Also, this isn't even taking into account Aim Dodging which Mina could quite easily be doing.

Except what's the reasoning? They're not specifically made and as several people have pointed out, it's one FTL Feat against several Hypersonic ones.

It is not circular when they are derived from the ftl feat, because the ftl feat isnt derived from them. Good attempt.

Try reading the thread instead of just coming in and babbling.

In the anime it shows the light inches from her face when she dodges.

We did read the thread, we just think you're full of shit. They're not faster tha light because that's literally the only faster than light feat period. No mention of the bullets being made to hit people with quirks is ever made in the series to my knowledge, so how about you prove this isn't an outlier instead of going "muh muh read the thread".

So unless it is directly specificed they cannot be lightspeed? Even when one of the very first feats in the series is ftl?

They can't be lightspeed because there's no evidence that they are aside from scaling to an outlier. One FTL feat doesn't mean anything if it's not consistent.

If one of the first feats is ftl, all of the other ones would scale behind it. Unless we need to go an retroactively neg all speed scaling in every series. The only hypersonic scaling comes from statements, rather than feats. The feats you all refer to are travel feats. No one is talking about those. Combat and travel are not the same thing.

Kappatalism; are you being serious, trolling, or do you not actually understand why FTL combat speed for all characters would be ridiculous?

That's not how that works. An outlier is an outlier, regardless of when in the series it takes place.

And? They still vastly outweigh the one singular FTL feat.

I don't buy people like Iida being anbe to fight millions of times faster than he can travel, especially since traveling speed is kinda shown to be his strong suit.
