idk about Kars' relation to Beyond. I've read portions of the novel but not all the way through. The only way i can tell would be Kars being able to match Dio in a fight despite his plot armor

He wasn't using Beyond until The Passion revealed it's humanoid form, which still doesn't do anything for Kars as he actually lost that in the end when he got cocky about the "limits of the world" thing and slammed stand discs onto him.
